" - Familiär geführter Campinplatz mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Schöne Lage direkt an einem Stausee, sehr gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Pilzesuchen. Sanitäranlagen akzeptabel. Warmwasser zum Geschirrspülen nur gegen Bezahlung. Das ist etwas unverständlich, wenn man weiß, daß Strom in Norwegen sehr preiswert ist. Kostenloses W-Lan im Rezeptionsgebäude.

" - Wir hatten vor, hier zu übernachten, und haben dafür einen 50km Umweg in Kauf genommen. Die Landschaft der Umgebung ist recht öde und spannungsarm; und wird lediglich von Wasserkraftwerken und Pumpspeicherwerken unterbrochen. Der Platz selbst liegt auch direkt an einem solchen Kraftwerk und wird nur durch einen Fluss von der Hauptverkehrsstraße getrennt. Viele Wohnwagen-Dauercamper; kein Flair. Die Sanitäranlagen haben wir kurz besichtigt, sie wirken altbacken. Verstehe die positiven Kritiken daher nicht so ganz.

" - Wir waren mit Motorrädern unterwegs und haten eine Hütte für eine Nacht. kleiner Platz, sanitäre Anlagen klein aber sehr sauber. Der See war sehr klar und sauber, 2 Ruderboote sind gratis zum ausborgen. Der Platz ist inmitten der Natur direkt bei der Straße . Uns hat es gefallen!

The campsite borders on the 'Hardangervidda Nature park', a beautiful area where you can walk, ski (cross country). This is the largest mountain plateau in Europe. The campsite is situated on the RV 40, the motorway from Kongsberg to Geilo. From Kongsberg it is about one hour drive and from Geilo it is about 45 minutes drive. Coming from Oslo, via Drammen and Kongsberg it takes …about 2,5 hours. Fjordgløtt Camping og Hytesenter is about 3,73 miles south of Rødberg. On the RV 40, the exit “Vrenne” and “Fjordgløtt Camping og Hytesenter” is clearly sign posted.
