Very, but really very unpleasant and arrogant staff/owner of the campsite. We tried a week stay - 3 people+car(Ford Tourneo Custom)+tent. From the beginning the gentleman from reception was looking for reasons why he could not accommodate us. The car is... too big and heavy, but they have plenty of motorhomes at the campsite. The most condition was that we can stay if we don't go anywhere for a week. And then they just kicked us out! All this on a Monday night in the early evening and plenty of room at the campsite. Unfortunately can't give less than one star. They deserve -5.Automaticky preložené.

The campsite places great value on proper behavior, peace and quiet and relaxation.
The night's rest, which starts at 22:00, is perfect for maximum relaxation, and I say that as a 22-year-old.
All the bad reviews are completely unfounded, as in all cases the... misconduct of the respective guests was the cause of any difficulties (I myself have witnessed several times how guests have whistled at the camping rules and then reacted indecently, cheekily and very often unfriendly to tips). Just as one calls into the forest...one can only say.
As I said, the campsite is a paradise. The sanitary facilities are well maintained, the pitches are large enough, the access to the lake and bathing area is more than adequate and if you have any questions or similar, the operators are always happy and friendly to answer them.
It's always a great time hereAutomaticky preložené. - Markus P.August 2022PozitívneLake accessNegatívneOperator, absolutely no cleanliness sanitary area, it could not be more unfriendlyUnfriendliest operatorNever met such a campsite operator, I would have believed the Google reviews, my children 3 and 7 years went alone to the absolutely dirty and ancient sanitary facilities, daughter was unfortunately at the men's toilet with her brother and loud🤔......either the children were loud or showed any misbehavior......this... old unsympathetic Mr.then came to the pitch to tell me that my children have no education and that I am one of the new children's education, good man, you better get your dirty sanitary facilities in order and don't imply anything to small children, kids were neither loud nor anything else, except the toilet mix-up, oh my God😌....I was 50m away from the tent. I have to deal with different groups of people in my job and by God it's not an easy job, so I also have very good knowledge of human nature and I think a lot has gone wrong with your old-fashioned upbringing, hence probably the beer consumption and beer flag...you're not accusing me of bringing up my children badly and too softly.... I still wish you, although you are no longer the youngest, to get a grip on your personal problems and psychoses.....It's a shame that you are treated like this.....But the reviews and your bad reputation are not for nothing, unfortunately we didn't take it so seriously before the visit. Young guests (approx. 30 years old) are obviously not welcome here! On arrival we were told that this is a quiet campsite, probably out of fear that we might throw a party. In the evening at 10pm, 4 of us sat quietly in front of our camper... and talked to each other at low volume (in the background heavy rain, where we could hardly understand each other). It didn't take long before the operator stormed up to us and told us that we could leave the site immediately tomorrow if we didn't adhere to the house rules and quiet times (from 10 pm)!

The campsite operator is a despot. First he expelled a couple with child and dog from the site, claiming that the man had been on the bathing meadow with the dog. It must be pointed out that this meadow is separated from the other area by a low wooden... beam. The man of the couple stayed outside with his dog and the woman went to the water with the child.
woman went to the water with the child. Suddenly the owner came rushing up and claimed that the man had entered the area, which he had seen from a distance of about 3 km as the crow flies.
The man naturally tried to defend himself and as there were no other people present, he turned to me. I could only confirm that he had not entered the area with his dog.
Me and my dog were also immediately expelled from the site because our dog (which I didn't even have with me at the time of the incident) was supposedly just barking around.
I went back to our mobile home and told my husband.
We tidied up and asked if we had to pay for the 3 hours of electricity and then left the site.
I went to the sanitary facilities once during the 3 hours there and can only confirm what others have already written. (very outdated).

Me and my husband arrived in the afternoon with our daughter and baby. Our baby cried in the evening. (Around 8.30 pm). For this reason, the operators wanted to throw us off the site. We were and still are speechless. They also accused us of being irresponsible to go on vacation with a baby. They also accused us of not keeping our baby warm. Anyone looking for "Halli Galli" is in the wrong place here ... but is that a disadvantage ... hihi I say nooooPerfect place in Austria!!! yes come hereDear campers! I can only recommend this campsite to you! Yes, there are many reviews but frankly you have to evaluate them accordingly :-) So if you are looking for respect and community on the site ... this is the right place for you!!! And that's what counts! Since I am looking for relaxation and... peace with my wife, but also personal access to the owners, I can say ... it's perfect here! If you are looking for a party zone, you won't find it here ... there are certainly other and better locations! But if you are looking for a wonderful place of refuge and great support on the site itself (especially in difficult conditions such as bad weather or other) then this is the RIGHT place for you! About the site itself ... Me and my wife like it here so much that we have been coming here for almost a decade! And yes, as you call into a forest so it comes out ... since we always call correctly and finely I would like to say here it always came back SUPER! For weather collapses or even low sea temperatures, well, according to the year! All in all, I can only strongly recommend this site to all campers! The fact that respect and consideration for others is writ large here is actually the basic manifesto that keeps bringing us back! and that "suits us" very well! So off to new shores, because the lake around the square has these to offer too!

It suited us so well that we extended until the last opening day on 15.09.2020. Friendly welcome although we had not made a reservation. Pitch allocation made the search for a suitable pitch unnecessary,... groundsman helped actively with the parking of the trailer, whole site very clean and what must be mentioned in particular was the (with one exception which, but was then also remedied) peace and quiet on the pitch from 22:00.Automaticky preložené.

At first we were skeptical whether this was the right place for us, as we had read some of the not so friendly reviews here. Unfortunately, a lot of petty nonsense is also written here, it is important to us that... rules are also checked for compliance.
When we arrived, the site manager wasn't too keen on our three-axle motorhome, but after we had a nice chat with him, he showed us two pitches, one right by the water and one next to it on a paved area. We liked the latter straight away, as our motorhome could stand on this area and the awning could be extended directly onto the adjacent grass pitch. Once parked there, we were immediately connected to the power supply and given detailed explanations of everything we needed. We received a very friendly welcome from the whole team. During the whole time, we never once had the impression that the operators were unfriendly or arrogant.
Particularly noteworthy is the well-developed access to the lake with steps and a jetty, as well as the beautifully maintained sunbathing lawn.
The site is very beautiful, quiet and close to the center of Unterach. All stores and excellent restaurants are within 10 minutes walking distance.
Yes, it is true that the sanitary facilities are not up to date and a little too few, but the facilities were always clean, which is far more important than the modern condition.
We will definitely be back and will contact you in good time to get this place again.
