Frank B.May 2018PozitívneLocation, tranquillity, friendlinessGreat location and good all roundWe spent the long weekend over Ascension Day here and were very satisfied. The site consists of 80% permanent campers and mobile homes, the tourist pitches are spread over two or three areas on the edge - this ensures peace and quiet, as all the permanent campers are rarely on the site at the same time.... Everything you need is available, from a small and very cozy shop (with unfortunately very limited opening hours), a snack bar, a restaurant, playgrounds, washing machines.... and even its own swimming pool. In addition, there is a great loading area for a trip around the Zuidlar Sea or a cycle tour to Groningen, perfect for a long weekend. (A tip: the cafés that invite you to stop off here and there along the way are simply great. Try the Paviljoen Meerzicht in Zuidlarden or De Waterjuffers bij Vos - right next to the campsite, just behind the hand-operated ferry). If you like, you could say a few words about the sanitary facilities: firstly, the washroom in our area was out of date. Everything was there, mostly clean and undamaged, but it was a different story. In addition, the three shower cubicles for the men were not exactly big enough. In addition, the wash house was cleaned between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning and the next alternative was a wash house at the other end of the campsite. There you could immediately see what was missing in your own wash house: Size and facilities. But as I said, that's absolutely no reason not to recommend the site. Olaf B.April 2016PozitívneGreat location in the countryside by the sea and only 14 km from Groningen.NegatívneSanitary building on the beach without heating.Great location and definitely a hit in the summer monthsWe have just returned from a planned short vacation. Unfortunately, we had to cancel because the weather put a stop to our planned activities. However, the always very friendly operators and staff can't help it. We were treated very courteously from the very first time we contacted them by phone. This... campsite has a wonderful location on the Zuidlaandermeer (a huge lake) with its own harbor. Most of the pitches are leased to permanent campers. However, the tourist pitches are very nice, quiet or on the beach. If, like us, you stay here in the low season, you should be aware that the sanitary building on the beach is not heated. The standard there is rated with a maximum of 2 stars. Access to the building is also only possible with a separate key so that no guests from the beach are constantly using the facilities here (this is not appropriate in the low season). We then went to the other sanitary building to shower. There it was warm and much more comfortable and very clean. In the low season, the mini market is only open for a short time and you can order bread rolls to the reception (but it only opens at 9 am). The small indoor pool is included but cannot be rated as it was not used. The surrounding area is ideal for long walks and bike rides (weather permitting). A stroll through the city of Groningen is also a must. All in all, we will definitely come back here again, but not in the low season....Automaticky preložené.- M. Also very good infrastructure for families with children (playgrounds always close by). You can also feed the goats. Funny. :-) Small (but expensive) supermarket directly on site. Other supermarkets can be reached within 3-4 km. Quiet location and... relatively large pitches. Barbecuing is possible without any problems. Unfortunately not campfires. Culinary not recommended. Better to cater for yourself! The "restaurant" at Zuidlarder Meer is very expensive for small portions. Qualitatively rather... Mediocre... But still recommendable overall.Automaticky preložené.

In the fall, the store is well stocked, but the supply of bread rolls is guaranteed. Otherwise you have to drive 5 kilometers to the nearest supermarket. The sandy beach invites you to sunbathe and the little ones can dig... to their heart's content and dig under Holland. If the weather is not so great, the campsite also has an indoor pool, which is included in the price. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The site is divided into larger fields, which are separated by trees. Up to 7 caravans can be placed on one such field. These pitches are then no longer bordered by trees or bushes. The site has many permanent campers, but this does not have a detrimental... effect on short-term campers. The pitches are paved with grass. The access roads are paved. The sanitary facilities are of different standards. There is a new sanitary building which is well maintained. Some of the other buildings are very old and unkempt (in the canteen area). The staff are helpful and very friendly, they speak German. There is a small indoor swimming pool for free use. For the children there is animation and for the older to adults there are game and dance evenings. There is also a supermarket where you can buy the essentials. Playgrounds and tennis courts, go-kart and canoe rental. The lake has a beach with super yellow sand. The lake is 640 hectares in size and also invites you to cycle around it. There are great cycle paths. To Zuidladen 10 km and to Gronningen 13 km! The lake circuit is 21 km. The restaurant at the marina was great. The snack bar canteen at the entrance unfortunately doesn't make such an appetizing impression. Overall, the campsite with all the impressions is a super place that can be highly recommended. I didn't give it 5 stars because I still want to leave room for improvement. By the way, the price is also okay and with the ADAC card you can save 1/4 of the price.Automaticky preložené.
