However, the advantage of our indoor pool is that our guests... do not have to travel 20 kilometers to the nearest swimming pool, but have the opportunity to swim and relax directly on site. Apart from the great location of the campsite, we particularly liked the wide range of leisure activities on offer and for families with children. And as dog owners, we particularly liked the dog beach, the dog run with agility area and the warm... dog shower with wall-mounted hairdryer. Another positive aspect is the cleanliness of the site, both in the sanitary facilities (!) and in the indoor and outdoor areas.
In general, the supply of all the daily necessities (EDEKA, bakery, restaurant, snack bar) is great and you can tell that the operator has thought of everything. At this point, a special thank you to the nice employee from EDEKA, who was always available and on hand.
But now comes the big minus point:
THE BOOKING SYSTEM is subterranean and not guest oríented!!!
We wanted to book pitches for three parties for one and a half weeks next year at the reception and it took us three attempts before we were able to book. Every time the reception told us which pitches were available and we wanted to discuss this and view the pitches (one party was not on site and could only be reached by telephone), the pitches were allocated in the meantime or booked online and we were left behind. It should be possible to block the seats for a few hours. As I said, we were on site and had a fixed time period in mind. We were actually so annoyed that we wanted to book on another campsite. The paved pitches offer a clean surface even when it rains. The sanitary facilities were always clean and there are even large family bathrooms available free of charge.
There are lots of play facilities for children and plenty of space to run around.
