"Very nice place - We can recommend the campsite without reservation. Rarely have we experienced such a helpful, friendly crew. The sanitary facilities are modern and always very clean and well maintained (which also speaks for the campers). The site is close to the village (within walking distance), where you can buy everything you need. SUP and canoes are available to hire at moderate prices. Small store with snacks and homemade cakes. We will definitely be back. There is a small sandy beach with a sunbathing area on the (crystal-clear) Peene.

"absolute peace - Very quiet and relaxing. If you want to be active, there's something for you: table tennis, tennis, volleyball, football, kayak hire and you can also rent a sauna barrel on site. Simply a great vacation.

"Beautiful place - The site is beautifully situated in Neukalen on the Peene. We had a comfort pitch that could have easily accommodated 2 caravans. The bathing area is more for cooling off than swimming, but it's perfect for families with children who want to learn how to swim. The staff are super friendly and, above all, uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities... simply top! High praise indeed! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place for you.

"Very nice place - Super location directly on the Peene, very quiet, great starting point for canoeing, kayaking and cycling tours. The campsite is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and will be back.

The campsite is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town, directly on the Peene, but still close to the centre of Neukalen. It impresses, among other things, with its modern and high-quality facilities. The sanitary building …has been equipped to the latest standards, and the pitches leave nothing to be desired, with water, drainage, electricity, satellite antenna connections and WiFi throughout the site. We offer our holidaymakers who are interested in sports great leisure opportunities right on the site, with a tennis court, a beach volleyball court, a small football pitch, table tennis and a basketball hoop. Even on rainy days, the bowling alley and the gymnasium right on the premises offer sporting leisure opportunities. Families can discover something new every day in our petting zoo and start great paddling and fishing trips from our Peene natural bathing spot or enjoy a refreshing dip on hot days. Bike paths around our surrounding lakes offer a great tour for every taste and requirement. Nature lovers hardly have to leave the campsite to experience the beauty and diversity of Mecklenburg Switzerland up close. Various beaver lodges not far from the Peene campsite promise unforgettable encounters with the wild rodents, while kingfishers inspire with their bright colours along the entire Peene. Neukalen has something to offer for every taste and budget when it comes to gastronomy. The ‘Erlebniswelt Neukalen’ discotheque, which is famous beyond the state's borders, offers young and old the opportunity to shake a leg in various themed bars and spend convivial evenings – it can be reached within 5 minutes on foot from the Peenecamp. Water sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here – Lake Kummerow, the fourth largest lake in Mecklenburg, and the Peene offer paddlers, sailors and motorboat enthusiasts a paradise for pursuing their hobby.
