The site is in a great location, the reception is friendly.
Unfortunately, there were also larger groups in the areas where mainly families were accommodated.
Music / conversations / bawling could be heard until 5am without the groups in question being removed from the site.
We left one night... earlier than booked and will not visit the site again at Pentecost due to the party situation. We simply needed a vacation and a good night's sleep.
Our wash house was outdated and not clean, the showers were cold in the morning.

Late entry until 11 pm.
During the entire stay, loud party music from the many partying guests on the entire camping site could be heard. The friendly management tried like Don Quixote to keep the party animals... out of the area. No bans are enforced, even if the disturbance continues well past midnight.
It is therefore not surprising that Regenbogen-AG demands 100% prepayment and offers 0% reimbursement in the event of cancellation in the last 14 days.
I will avoid this provider.

The whole time it smelled of urine in the toilets, in the back toilet there was feces smeared on the wall the whole time. The showers were partially defective.
The time of 3 minutes is far too short. Setting the perfect shower temperature alone took at least 45 seconds.... It was not possible to wash out hair properly. Showering together with the children was also stressful. 3 men in one shower was impossible given the time span. This time limit definitely needs to be abolished. Apart from that, we found the Whitsun offer really successful.

The Whitsun weekend was absolute party madness. I was thrilled that there were still such opportunities to party. Despite the crowds, the sanitary facilities were always clean. The next morning there were beer bottles everywhere, even on the playground, and it was particularly disappointing that it was not communicated in advance that such an event was taking place over the entire weekend. The paths were in poor condition, hardly any shade. Many trees had been cut down: it looked like "forest dieback". The sanitary facilities were also in poor condition (in sanitary building 1, 3 out... of 7 ladies' showers and 2 out of 5 wash cubicles were broken). As I have difficulty walking, I asked for another pitch near the sanitary building. Upon insistence, they hesitantly checked and said that everything was "packed" and unfortunately there was no other space available. However, for the entire duration of our stay, some of the pitches near the sanitary building were not occupied. The children were very happy. But somehow something is missing everywhere. Lots of parties! Very loud.

Surprisingly, it was very empty; this may be due to the closed... swimming pool or the closed restaurant...not even a beer was available - what a shame! In addition, many things have obviously only just been completed or are still being renovated; what can already be seen, however, makes a positive impression, in 2020 this should be an all-round successful site; sanitary facilities were impeccable! We visited the campsite during the Easter vacations with 2 children (7 and 10 years old) and 2 dogs. We had chosen the campsite especially because of the beautiful playground, as my husband could only join us at weekends due to his job.... Unfortunately, we found out that the playground was closed due to necessary renovation work and the store had not yet been set up. The booked space was also not ready and the registration area was still under construction. So at first I was very disappointed and to be honest I had already written off the vacation. But then we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service from this super team. With very friendly advice, they found us another pitch that really suited our wishes and ideas. The restaurant had a great menu and the food tasted really good. There was also a great fish buffet at Easter which was really worthwhile. I quickly found a small circular route through the forest where I could walk the dogs without having to lie on the road first. (Approx. 40 min) (Please dear campsite owners, when you revise the fences at the edge of the forest, think about the dog gates again, every camper with a dog will thank you). We were also surprised by the really great children's entertainment. It covers a large period of time and the children were simply thrilled. Not only were there great things on offer at no extra cost, but the care of the supervisors was simply unbeatable. A proper registration form was filled out, it was determined whether the child was allowed to return alone or not, even allergies or special needs were asked about and the children always had their parents' cell phone number directly on a lanyard during all activities. The service provided and the rooms and play facilities were very similar to a small kindergarten. The children enjoyed their time there so much that I was able to read 2 books during this vacation. In the short time we were there, we saw how the store was set up, the registration was completed and the playground was put back in order. Everything was done in such a way that you weren't even disturbed by noise. This campsite was by no means a 5 star site, as described in the 2018 catalog, but I really trust this team to make it one. They still have a lot of work to do in many areas, but we are already looking forward to the summer vacation where we spontaneously booked another 10 days to see how it continues to change. I can only advise anyone who likes a campsite that doesn't just have closed-off squares, but also trees and a bit of forest, to give this site and its team a chance and see for themselves.Automaticky preložené.
