Very friendly staff. The entrance looks spectacular on arrival, but can also be used by larger motorhomes without any problems. Very clean sanitary facilities in sufficient numbers. Small restaurant with a small menu at normal prices. Mini market with the essentials on site. Good shopping about 4 km away. The toilets were clean and the location was quite good (the beach were close). The staff were friendly with us. They just have a little shop, but there is a Carrefour not to far away.

Different areas for tents, not partitioned, but big enough not to be on top of each other. We really appreciated it, especially after visiting campsites that were perhaps better maintained (sanitary facilities) but crowded, and very business-like and roadside... The cold and short stuff in the reception gives you the feeling that you are in a mass tourism factory. We paid 54€ for 2 nights (1 car, 1 tent, 2 adults) and... we took only two showers. They are promising security service at night but nobody was there when we had an incident with a drunk guy at 04:00 in the morning!Automaticky preložené.

The sanitary facilities are very good and very clean. Due to the size, the visitors spread out very well. It's not far to the beach in Salema. A large Carefour supermarket is also not far away. Lots of space in the many zones and it was refreshing to choose our own place to pitch the tent. Also there are lots of places to choose from - it was busy and although the campsite may appear small at first, once you get in to it it winds its way through a valley with lots of little zones tucked away here and there. Very pretty site.

Hans S.May 2010This is a small campsite on the road to the small coastal village of Praia da Salema. Access is somewhat difficult for a camping vehicle due to the bends and height of the road. There is a small store, a restaurant and some rental accommodation. The lady at reception is very helpful. The site is partly... a naturist area, how that works is a mystery to me. A special feature is that there is a currency exchange office here. The only question is from which currency to which, or do you mean large bills to coins?Automaticky preložené.
