Swimming and fishing lake next door. Natural bathing lake with concrete surface, water slide for small and big children. 2 diving boards, bathing island and water mushroom. DLRG supervision. Playground, table tennis and volleyball court also available.... The campsite itself is simple but kept clean. Friendly staff. Showers and sanitary building old but clean. Bread roll service. W-Lan on site. Restaurant by the bathing lake. Shopping possible 1km away. Showers with separate coins. The rinsing situation should be changed, only one of four pools with warm water. (heating with kettle) or getting warm water from the warm water basin was no problem despite already occupied. Permanent campers always nice. There was hardly any shade on the tourist pitch, but 2 or 3 trees could have been planted. We will definitely be back again. A great place for us, as there is a swimming lake next door and it's good value!!!Automaticky preložené.

Train connection to tourist towns.NegatívneRestaurant variety somewhat poor.Great facility close to lakes and MainLarge campsite with various pitches on mown grass between numerous permanent campers. The ground is only slightly uneven and there are a few shade trees. Right next to the campsite there is an outdoor pool with a restaurant by a bathing lake. The lake is green and brown but harmless and really well laid... out. We were able to cool off after 5.00 pm for 1.40 euros. There is also a large fishing lake with a natural shore next to the campsite. An evening walk around the lake is a real treat! Freudenberg is a street village with a lot of history, but wasn't that interesting for us. However, there are lovely new quayside facilities on the Main for strolling and eating ice cream... The Main bridge takes you to the train station and from there by train to the two tourist towns of Wertheim and Miltenberg. A good 20 minute train ride each. We recommend Seecamping as a starting point for numerous activities and have found the site to be one of the most beautiful on our tour through central Germany!Automaticky preložené.

Leisure activities.NegatívneNo shade on the large meadow.Beautiful place on the MainBeautifully situated on the Main (not directly), this quiet site with many permanent campers is a worthwhile destination for a short break. The Main is a great place to cycle. Wehrheim, Miltenberg and Freudenberg itself (castles and old town) offer refreshment stops and tourist destinations, also within... cycling distance. Beer gardens along the cycle path make cycling a pleasant experience. Directly opposite the campsite is a great outdoor lake swimming pool, ideal for children. There is also a boules court at Freudenberg harbor (10 minutes from the campsite by bike). Shopping facilities can be reached by bike in 5 minutes. It is quiet on the site, but there are no trees on the large meadow for short-term vacationers, unfortunately there is no shade, which is more likely to be found between the permanent camper pitches. But even there it was fine, nice neighbors were quickly found. So it's worth coming back.Automaticky preložené.

The site and the sanitary facilities were clean and the operators were always friendly. We were on a large meadow with no pitches. Everyone took the space they needed, which worked well. We went on bike rides, swam in the lake and even had some success... fishing. The showers are branded, but I think that's fine. There was plenty of time. There is one thing that urgently needs to be improved: a sink with hot water for washing up is far too little. The kettle for heating water is very inconvenient...Automaticky preložené.

The meadow was freshly mowed, unfortunately the grass clippings remained, so that you constantly had grass on the front carpet or in the freshly cleaned showers. Sanitary a bit older, but clean. We went to the supermarket just 1.5 km away to do our shopping, so we had no problems with supplies. The site mainly accommodates permanent campers, with tourist pitches forming a minority, although this was not a disadvantage in this case. The infrastructure of the site is limited. There is no store, but bread rolls can be ordered... on site. As we were only there for one night, we catered for ourselves. There are plenty of sanitary facilities. Although they are a little dated and worn, they were clean and easy to use during our visit. In addition to the usual facilities, there is also a recreation room with table football and a pool table. There is a table tennis table in front of the sanitary building. There is also a gas stove for a fee, as well as a microwave and 2 fridges, which can be used free of charge. (good for bike campers etc.) During our stay, the site was pleasantly quiet and perfect for relaxing. Of course, the kids were out and about playing, but for me this was not a noise nuisance, but rather a way of life, especially as they also have to sleep at night. The pitches are unparceled and you simply stand on a meadow. The advantage of this is that you can spread out when the pitch is empty, but the disadvantage is that there is no shade as there are no trees or bushes in sight. The pitch was ideal for us as we were only there for one night to visit friends. However, I can imagine using this site for a few more days to relax.Automaticky preložené.
