"A lot of money for little performance - Access to the lake and a nice sanitary building do not make a campsite that you will return to. A vacation with friends feels different.

"Very expensive campsite. No justification!!! - A very expensive campsite - without any justification. The price they advertise is €38.10 but in practice they charged us €52.80 !!! Beyond that, in addition they charge an extra €2 for fresh water refills. There is no wifi on site as there is on every other site we have been to. The showers and toilets are very simple. There is no justification for coming here.

"Unfortunately now far too expensive - We were on the pitch before Corona and found it ok despite the high price for the transit. Above all, you could park and pay in the morning. The layout of the pitch didn't matter and you could stand there ready to go. To my regret, this has since changed. Out of habit, I parked the vehicle ready to leave and went to reception the next morning. There it was made clear to me that I had to pay for 1.5 pitches, and the manageress wouldn't budge. So we paid €76.30 for 3 adults and a child - I'd never paid that much for a campsite before. Next time we'll go to the Mühlbacherhof pitch, which is much cheaper.

"Far too expensive - Beautiful, clean campsite in the center of Seeboden. The pitch with its own access to the lake and sunbathing lawn is about a 2-minute walk along the promenade. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern, although there are not enough shower cubicles for the size of the site. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity, in the village there are supermarkets and everything you need - by car about 2 minutes, on foot about 15 minutes. That would be everything that speaks for the place...... There is no bread roll service on site, there is no mini market, no stand for camping supplies, no food vending machines, no snack bar, no playground, no restaurant, not even WiFi, the reception is only staffed for a few hours in the morning and evening... In short - there is actually nothing that the site offers, apart from a patch of grass and electricity, the toilet block and access to the lake. But the price is incredibly high. I've been here many times and the site has always been expensive, but in summer 2022 it was definitely the last time. We spent 4 nights in Bavaria - right on the lake, 4 nights in South Tyrol - right on the lake, and then 5 nights here at this campsite. For the extra night we paid €100 more here than at the other campsites. For 1 car, a large tent, electricity and 2 people. These prices are in no way justified. That was my last stay here.

Strandcamping Winkler at lake Millstätter See is only 1.5km away from the motorway A10 (Tauernautobahn). The parcelled out pitches with asphalted paths at the lake are ideally located. Our well-kept swimming pool (only for our guests) has been built recently. …There is also a marked area for non-swimmers, an area for children and a lawn (only 50m away). At Strandcamping Winkler you will get recreation in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Besides, it is an ideal starting point for trips and mountain-tours. We provide well-kept sanitary facilities, power points for the pitches, a disposal-centre for motor-caravans and more. You can get to our swimming pool which is 50m away by a promenade; there are changing cubicles and showers; tumble dryer; opportunity of ironing; chemical toilet; Nearby there are parks, restaurants, cafés with terraces, a supermarket, a playground, tennis courts, a football-ground, beach-volleyball-grounds. You can play minigolf, table-tennis, attend the sailing, water-skiing and surfing school or rent boats at the boat rental. Possibilities for entertainment and culture;
