"Rolig plads med god beliggenhed - We have been here for a long time. Pladsen ligger fantastisk ift at besøge Viborg by og udforske området. It's 50m from the pitch to a steep slope that leads to the golf course, 100m to a steep disc-golf course and 500m to an outstanding MTB track. These places are not so much "in themselves", but on the side that is not easy to reach or maintain. Sanitærfaciliteter er dog helt i orden og rene selv i højsesonen. Parcellerne er store og plane, vi kunne dog godt ønske lidt bevoksning til både skygge og læ.

"Urban square with some "large" plots located in a green area. - Camping Viborg Sø stands out for being located not far from the city center, although it is in a green area and close to a lake. There are plenty of water points evenly distributed throughout the campsite. The infrastructure is also excellent and there is even the option to get a slightly larger pitch if needed. The service building is in tip-top condition and the cleaning is also top notch. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. You immediately feel welcome. This is a campsite we would love to come back to and can therefore easily recommend.

"Price-performance ratio not balanced - On the way back from Skagen, we visited Viborg and this campsite. Close to the city and yet in a very rural setting. Just a few minutes' walk to the lake. Two adults with dog for 42 EUR in the off-season for a pitch without comfort and little grass are overpriced in my opinion. Sanitary facilities seemed overloaded. Bread roll service on site.

"Lovely site, close to the city. - A really nice place, lovely nature right outside the door. Many opportunities for nature walks both on foot or by bike. Not far into town where there are many opportunities to shop and eat.

"Cozy space but not service-oriented - We were a couple with a 1-year-old child. We rented a caravan - only for a weekend. The caravan, pitch and facilities were generally very nice, BUT... Already when we booked our stay we were met with poor service on the phone, and this continued on several occasions while we were on site. We were in Viborg for reasons other than camping, but thought it was an opportunity to check out the site as we usually camp in the summer. We won't be coming back though!

Live next to the lake and within walking distance to the city centre Next to Sønder Sø and with the city center right on the other side, the campsite in Viborg is like a small oasis in the middle of …all the greenery. Follow the path along the lake into the town centre, where it is teeming with restaurants and shopping opportunities. Or experience the magnificent and historic cathedral. If you are interested in gardening, you can visit the Forstbotanisk Have and Nordic Park, located right next to the square. Camping in Viborg with plenty of experience When you are camping in Viborg, the site right down to the lake itself is a wonderful place to spend a lot of wonderful hours. In addition, the impressive limestone mine Mønsted Kalkgruber is only 15 minutes away. If you drive the other way, you will find the World Map at Klejtrup, where children and adults can go around the world in no time. Go on an excursion A little further away, but still under an hour's drive, is Himmelbjerget. A detour to the north will find you in the Limfjord with lots of wonderful viewpoints. In short, there are plenty of experience opportunities both on and near the square. Overnight in Viborg with activities for the children The campsite in Viborg has extremely well-maintained facilities. The children can satisfy their desire to play on the nice playground with two bouncy pads. There is also minigolf, bonfire, beach volleyball, mooncarbane and a nice bathing bridge in the lake. Overnight in one of the square's cabins all year round At the campsite in Viborg, you will find camping cabins with room for four guests and with their own kitchen and loft, which offer a good opportunity for cheap accommodation in Viborg both summer and winter. It is an easy and comfortable way to go camping in Viborg and spend the night close to the center and the city's many wonderful facilities.
