Somewhat remote. No shopping facilities.
Super view in the quietest location
At first glance, you wouldn't think that there are also campsites ... Lots of lodges with great facilities, breathtaking views, reception, pub and restaurant, heritage center ... But there are also 30 pitches for tents or campers (more like camper vans). The washing facilities are not toilets and showers... but bathrooms with toilet and shower. If all the camper pitches are fully occupied, it might be a bit tight with four units. However, this is probably unlikely. The swimming pool is right next door. Reception for late arrivals in the pub. Electricity at all pitches. WoMo, 2 people, electricity in July 2016: 15 pounds and therefore unbeatable, because you can see as far as Plymouth from almost every pitch. An amazing view. Highly recommended for stopovers in the direction of "The West" Cornwall. Easy to reach by ferry from Plymouth. You can also eat in the pub. Shopping opportunities "not around the corner".

Fantastic location and good facilities at a fair price
We were there in summer 14. The pitches for tents were ok. For caravans rather very good, as there were also some pebbles. The surroundings are fantastic. The path down to the sea ... the surf, the small beach. However, it is not lonely or pure nature, as there are some vacation huts on the coast. But all in all, a real experience.
