You can hear the surf at high tide. The beach is sheltered and therefore ideal for children. If you're looking for waves, you don't have to go far. There is a lot to do in the area.
The pitches are generally very tight. We recommend choosing a spot in advance.... There are shady spots under trees.
The wash houses are very clean and actually always empty because many guests stay in mobile homes.
There is entertainment for children and adults, but we can't write anything about that. The pizza in the restaurant is good.
The Wi-Fi is expensive but good. After booking, the site was taken over by "Sandaya".
The campsite is beautifully situated, with its own beach access to a lovely bay. Creperie etc. are within walking distance.
Lorient and the shops... are only about 10 minutes away by car.
We were a little disappointed by the advertised entertainment, events etc. There was very little of this. Very little of this took place, although we were obviously still before the main season at the beginning of July. In some cases, there were announcements about events (candy carts, "magicians") that didn't actually take place. In any case, we had expected something different.

Our search led us to Fort Bloqué, later to Lomener, we had passed Camping Belle Plage several times before, but had never really... been interested in the site because we were more oriented towards Lorient (Festival Interceltique).
In 2018, we simply made an unannounced attempt in Lomener at the end of May, got a pitch and lots of help in the fight against defects that our car had suffered due to a break-in shortly before departure. Our accommodation was called "Coco" - cozy, compact and a great terrace. The sanitary facilities were only a few meters away. You can take excellent walks from the campsite. We enjoyed eating at the campsite restaurant in the evening. Delicious and simple dishes and drinks... at fair prices. Bread roll service if ordered the day before.
