- Daniel S.October 2023PozitivnoVery good location for various hobbies or sports. I am here for the second time in a row for motorcycling in October. very nice staff social facilities tip top. very well maintained pool area. The restaurant on site in the complex offers very tasty food from the region.NegativnononeConclusion gravel tourI'm here for the second time in a row for the last motorcycle event of the year. - Stephan T.May 2019Pozitivno- great view - friendly and helpful staff - family-friendly sanitary facilities - well-kept facilities - good restaurantNegativno- Playground moderate - Bathroom without toilet paper/hand soapSimply beautifulThe journey was less complicated than we initially thought and we met a very friendly reception staff, who calmly answered all our questions and actively tried to solve any problems. This remained the case throughout our stay. The staff came by to solve the problem of a new gas bottle, lovingly organized... a birthday cake and when it got muddy in front of our caravan after many rainy days, sand was piled up and paving slabs were laid. The view of the surrounding mountains with Preci nestled in them is simply beautiful. It's about 70 minutes to Castellucchio (via Norcia) due to the road closures, but it's worth it. Despite the large complex, everything is quiet and pleasant. The complex itself was well maintained in the low season, although many parts were not in use. The sanitary block we used was always clean and contained children's washbasins/toilets and a separate family bathroom. The fact that there is no toilet paper or hand soap takes some getting used to and should at least be known in advance. The playground is rather poor and the next investment could be made here. But we didn't really miss it. Washing machine is okay, dryer dries for 4€ too little and can be saved. The restaurant is very good and you can order bread and milk here every morning. The W-Lan is available at a fair price and proved to be efficient for us. All in all, a great campsite with minor weaknesses, but these are outshone by the rest.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jens J.September 2018PozitivnoPool, tranquillity, restaurant, location, friendlinessOne of the most beautiful places I have ever visitedWe felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived and were very impressed by the beautiful location and the spacious and cozy campsite. There are two pools, one of which is great for swimming laps. You can play tennis, go on various hikes and have a good time in the restaurant in the evening. Everything we tried was excellent and the prices are also very reasonable. We will definitely go here again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jörg N.June 2018PozitivnoBeautiful, quiet place in the countryside. Ideal for hiking and cycling.NegativnoYou have to be prepared for the fact that the area is still heavily marked by the 2016 earthquake.Wonderful location - pure natureBeautifully situated site on a hill with a view of Monte Sibillini. The terrain is beautifully terraced, the pitches are large enough and well serviced. Depending on your choice of pitch, you may have to climb a few steps to reach the main building or the sanitary facilities. Very nice pool at the main... building with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Good restaurant in the main building, highly recommended. The sanitary facilities directly below the main building are rather basic and a bit outdated. The others should be more modern. For the approach to the site via the village of Castelvecchio, the southern road coming from Preci is highly recommended. Very narrow and steep roads are to be expected. The region was close to the epicenter of the 2016 earthquake and many of the surrounding villages and towns are either completely or partially closed. Shopping opportunities are therefore limited. Another tip: be sure to visit Nonna Stella's restaurant in the village of Castelvecchio!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jürgen K.June 2017PozitivnoGreat distant view; nice, competent staffGreat locationWe stayed one night and were very satisfied. The only reason we left straight away was because the local situation meant there were few mountain roads open to reach hiking destinations. We would have liked to stay longer because everything on the site was just right. We will definitely be back.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jörg T.June 2016Pozitivnoquiet location, friendly staff, situated in a beautiful landscape, suitable for campingNegativnononeGreat campsiteI stayed at this campsite in June 2016 - for camping - and was delighted. Quiet location in beautiful countryside, friendly staff, good sanitary facilities. Soccer fans could watch the World Cup matches in the TV room. Good location for hikes in the Sibillini Mountains, although the respective starting points must of course be reached by car.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Udo W.September 2015PozitivnoPeace, swimming pool and top restaurantNature and tranquillityThe view from the pitches is unique. The peace and quiet is fantastic for an Italian campsite. The two swimming pools are large and very well maintained. The best for last = friendly staff and a restaurant that is second to none.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Norman W.September 2015Pozitivno- restaurant - Location - Peace and quiet - InexpensiveNegativno- Access for large camper vans could be difficult.Wonderful place to feast and relaxA great place in a fabulous setting. The restaurant is absolutely top class. It would probably have a star here in Cologne. That's no exaggeration. The place is very quiet and has a fantastic view over the countryside. Highly recommended, especially for couples who appreciate good food.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Vinzenz T.September 2014PozitivnoWonderful location with a great view of the countryside - you are not cramped anywhere. Two large swimming pools. Good restaurant. Bread roll serviceNegativnoNarrow, somewhat dificult passage in Castelvecchio.Top spot on the edge of the Sibiline Mountains in UmbriaWe have been visiting the Il Collaccio campsite for many years. Either in spring or fall. The site has a wonderful location on a mountainside with views to the south over Preci to Monte Patino and to the west into the Nera Valley. It is equipped with good sanitary facilities and offers two large swimming... pools with paddling pools for children in two separate areas. There is accommodation to suit all tastes: pitches for caravans and motorhomes in various sizes, spread over many terraces. You have a beautiful view from everywhere and don't feel cramped. You can also rent bungalows, apartments, rooms, mobile homes and tents. If you love nature, hiking or mountain biking, this is the place for you. Excursions to the Sibylline Mountains with the Piano Grande and to the picturesque towns of Norcia, Visso, Spoletto, Monteleone dei Spoletto, Leonessa and Orvietto are highly recommended. It is beyond the scope of this site to list them all. Just have a look at the website of the place with many links. www.ilcollaccio.com/ There is also a good restaurant with a bar where you can enjoy very good original Umbrian cuisine. The trout, pastes, lentil dishes and especially the fantastic pizzas are highly recommended. Outside the main season, the small grocery store is closed, but bread and rolls can be ordered the day before in the bar. Other groceries can be bought in the small stores in the surrounding villages or in the large supermarket in Norcia. This campsite is particularly recommended for the early and late season, when it is a little less crowded. It is superior to most other campsites in Italy because the price-performance ratio is right and there is a family atmosphere. In any case, we love this campsite and above all the people there and the open and cordial way in which they treat their guests. Another stay in September 2014Samodejno prevedeno.
- Vaverka J.September 2013One of the best I ever visited, great location (0,5h to Spoletto), great view to villages around, very good prices, but it's in the mountains, so mornings (in september) is very coldSamodejno prevedeno.
- Florian H.September 2011Beautifully situated campsite with a great view towards Preci. The campsite has a highly recommended restaurant and a great pool. The sanitary facilities are clean and relatively modern. One of my favorite campsites - simply SUPER!!!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Markus B.June 2011Fantastically situated site with some magnificent views of the Sibillini, slightly adventurous approach, very friendly staff. Very steep slope, towing assistance on request (advisable for some pitches). Small, sometimes very small pitches, large pitches are the exception. Clean, tidy sanitary facilities,... a small store, a serviceable if not quite up to standard restaurant. In principle very quiet, except for the dogs already mentioned and the alarm systems that keep wailing for a long time. There is no alternative for visiting the Sibillini anyway, and it is also recommended for a few excursions into the Valle Umbra - alternatives in Umbria are few and far between.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Eddie G.May 2011Il Collaccio has been one of my "must-see" destinations in Italy for many years. The fantastic location high above the Nera valley, the view towards Preci and the spectacles that take place in the sky when the weather changes are simply fantastic. A dip in the well-kept pool with a view of the Monti... Sibillini is always a pleasure for body, mind and soul. The staff and the family who run the campsite are genuinely welcoming in a way that can only be found off the beaten tourist track. The site is generally well-kept and clean, the sanitary facilities are also up to southern European standards, even if they are not "luxury bathrooms" - but I don't expect them to be, I'm camping after all! The pitches seem to me - in view of the steep location - to be absolutely large and level enough, but the approach and departure are a bit of an adrenaline rush due to the gradient and the narrow roads. An absolute highlight is the on-site restaurant - I would definitely give it an extra star. (I celebrated my 50th birthday there many years ago, with friends and a brilliant truffle menu at a price that is actually unimaginable. It seems important to me that they almost exclusively use their own products. The bar and store - only open in high season - are rather small, but quite adequate. The surrounding area with Norcia and the iano Grande, an almost unreal plateau, is worth a whole vacation. You have to experience it! Hiking - also guided by national park rangers - mountain biking and paragliding make for a varied stay. The bottom line: Italy as it once was and should be. Warm, enjoyable, hospitable and extremely relaxed.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Werner S.May 2011beautifully situated CP on a slope with slightly to rather uneven pitches; the site has a friendly and good English-speaking management; sanitary facilities very well maintained and clean; the showers unfortunately have no splash protection, so that all things like clothes get wet; but they do not have... automatic push buttons that you have to press every 10-15 seconds; in the sanitary buildings partly quite new; but there are also older ones; in the newer one there are 2 single wash cubicles with shower and washbasin in a partition, there is enough space here to keep your clothes dry; a good restaurant was also open in the low season, the small supermarket was still closed; in the bar, however, there were good, fresh baguettes to order every morning; the nearest shopping facilities in the valley are approx. 3 km away with a small butcher's store and grocery store, but unfortunately without vegetables and salad; you are confronted with a sad affair every night; approx. 2 km down the valley are narrow concrete dog kennels without sun protection and spread such a pungent odor in the immediate vicinity that you can guess what the care and keeping is like there; the stench is so strong that you can't stand it there for more than a minute; these dogs howl and bark almost all night; since it is otherwise extremely quiet in the valley and on the hill and you also think about this dog keeping, it has pretty much robbed me of sleep; according to the presentation on the homepage you expect e.g. fresh food such asfresh food such as vegetables and homemade sausages, a truffle test field and a sausage production house; this was not available or closed; the CP is perfect for mountain bikers, mountain hikers and hang-gliders (not far to Castelluccio approx. 30km, a hang-glider's paradise); near Castelluccio, where the delicious highland lentils grow, there is a very interesting plateau; a must for gourmets is the old town approx. 10 km away is the old town of Norcia with very tasty sausage and cheese products, highland lentils and game specialties; there are countless butcher's stores with great products at an affordable price; price in the low season: 15 euros for 2 people per night complete (with the ADAC card)Samodejno prevedeno.
- Norbert J.May 2010If you want to explore the beautiful Sibillini mountains, you don't have much choice anyway. However, this campsite is beautifully situated on a slope with a great view, very quiet (except for the distant howling of wolves) and an ideal starting point for tours to Valnerina, Norcia or the beautiful plateau... of Castelluccio. A paradise for hikers, nature photographers and anyone who wants to experience authentic Italy. The campsite is well maintained, the staff are very friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean and adequate. The campsite has a recommended restaurant.Samodejno prevedeno.
