- Esther E.August 2023PozitivnoDirect access to the sea Family atmosphereNegativnoUnfortunately, the new trend of replacing caravan pitches with mobile homes is also being followed here Three showers have also already had to make way for mobile homesNice, small campsiteThe campsite is located right by the sea, in the bay of Agay.
It's quite small, but that's what makes it so special.Samodejno prevedeno. - peter k.October 2021PozitivnoClean and friendly. Great restaurantNegativnoTighter space conditionsGreat campingA great campsite in a very beautiful and quiet location. Great restaurant and friendly welcome. Bread service and talk away are also excellent. The facilities are adequate, "heated" and clean. The maneuvering facilities on the campsite are not easy for caravans and large campers, as the pitches are rather small and the access road is steep. Reservations are also necessary in October, as the campsite is well booked. Mainly shady.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Henry d.September 2019PozitivnoRight by the sea Small-scale Good sanitary facilities Location near shops/supermarketNegativnoSites are smallBeautiful PlaceCamping Agay-Soleil is a small campsite (45 spots) in the small village of Agay. The campground is right on the beautiful bay of Agay and thus the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the spots are under the big trees and thus in the shade. There is a small beach right from the campsite. Just walk on and one is... on the large beach of Agay Plage. 100 meters. The sanitary facilities are modern and well kept clean. There are only mobil-homes for rent and two chalets. All have air conditioning. Sait Raphaël and Fréjus are 12 and 15 km away. Good bus service, the stop is near the campsite. Hiking or biking in the beautiful Estérel mountains, close to the campsite. By car to Cannes or further along the beautiful coastal road. Also possible by train, there is a small station in Agay.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Jott S.April 2019Right by the seaTop location, directly on the beach. Separated from the beach by a low wall with a fence. Small site with a very friendly welcome. Good sanitary facilities by southern French standards.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Markus W.May 2018Pozitivnodirectly by the seaNegativnosecluded.Beautiful placeThe site is right by the sea. The pitches are uneven. Trees shield the signal transmission. Rest. friendly service and also good food. Gray water drain very special.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Martin S.September 2017PozitivnoNice location, nice staff, clean and overall good value.NegativnoFew restaurants in the village.*** Nice, small and cozy campsite ***We came across this cute little campsite by chance; the welcome was warm, helpful and friendly. The site was clean and well-kept; we can also recommend the restaurant on site with good food and reasonable prices; unfortunately there aren't many restaurants in town.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Lisa H.September 2017PozitivnoBy the sea, delicious restaurant with sea viewNegativnoSmall pitches, average sanitary facilitiesSmall place by the seaNice little site by the sea with relatively small pitches and average sanitary facilities. Our 6m caravan just about fitted on the pitch, some large motorhomes had to leave because they didn't fit on the pitches. Delicious restaurant with sea view and sunsets over the water! Sanitary facilities okay,... nothing fancy, but free hot water. Quiet, but the aforementioned beach maintenance vehicle can be heard early in the morning. Often fully booked even in September!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Silvia H.June 2017PozitivnoFantastic area. Small fine campNegativnoNo nice town center to stroll around in the vicinity.Wonderful camp in a beautiful landscapeFriendly welcome, very small camp, clean and relatively nice sanitary facilities. Various small and large pitches with plenty of shade and almost full from mid-June. We didn't hear the road above. Directly on the beautiful narrow beach. But it wasn't very crowded and quiet. We ate very well in the campsite restaurant. We were just passing through and only stayed here for two nights. There wouldn't have been enough going on here for longer.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Anne R.September 2016PozitivnoSea view and direct access to the water Cozy atmosphere Good starting point for excursionsNegativnoNo toilet seat, no toilet paper, no hand soap Small, uninviting children's playground Rather less suitable for families or teenagersSmall but niceThe campsite is small but nice! We were there as a couple with a tent and car and had a great few days. The campsite is really right on the water. That's definitely the biggest plus point of the campsite. The pitches are large enough overall, but the row by the water is rather cramped. You camp in a... relatively small space here, but we always had nice contact with our neighbors. Despite full occupancy, it was always quiet in the evening and we were able to sleep well with the sound of the sea. The ground on the campsite is mainly sand, so it's best to bring a ground sheet or similar and definitely a broom to sweep out the tent! Compared to other restaurants, you can eat a relatively good and cheap pizza (€10) or moules frites (€9.50, both at a takeaway price) in the campsite restaurant. The staff were also very friendly and sometimes spoke English. In the morning you can also buy baguettes and croissants at the restaurant, but only from 8-9am. You really have to be quick, as the offer is exhausted relatively quickly :) Agay Soleil may not be the right CP for a 2-week family vacation with all kinds of chi chi, but it is certainly recommended for a few relaxing days by the sea. From Agay you can easily drive to St. Tropez, Cannes or Grasse, so it's a good starting point for many excursions. Unfortunately, there are no toilet lids, no toilet paper and no soap for washing hands in the toilets, which are mostly clean, so I deduct one rating point. The facilities for families with children are also rather modest. There were mainly older campers with caravans or motorhomes on the campsite. The "playground" didn't look very inviting and is located directly at the entrance to the campsite. I would definitely make a reservation here, even in the low season, otherwise you might not get a pitch. In September we paid around €26 for electricity.Samodejno prevedeno.

- Philipp S.May 2014PozitivnoCentral location, Directly by the sea, Friendliness, Family atmosphereNegativnoNoise from motorcycles (coastal road)All in all, and according to exiled Germans, a real insider tip on the Cote d'Azur. The location of our pitch in the first row on the beach (for an extra charge) really sweetened our vacation. The campsite is apparently run by a family. The sanitary facilities are in good condition, but it is a bit cold... in May. Despite warnings to the contrary from home, we felt safe and well looked after. Access to the site (from the street and beach side) is closed at around 22:30. The fresh baguettes and croissants can be collected directly from the adjacent restaurant from 08:00 in the morning. The paths on the site (caravan-wet cell-trash disposal, camping toilet disposal...) are kept very short. During our stay, there were several two-day campers with tents and motorcycles, motorhomes and camper vans. From here you can reach St. Rafael/Frejus in 15 minutes by car. Cannes, St. Tropez and Grasse are just over an hour away (coastal road). Groceries can be bought in the immediate vicinity, but are rather limited and priced above average.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Dirk O.July 2013Very nice, small campsite, right on the water. German and English spoken at reception. Sanitary facilities not always clean (was better 2 years ago). There are two washing machines. Surf and kayak rental next door. Good restaurant "Villa Matuzia" with fine cuisine directly in the village. Other good... franc. Cuisine in the immediate vicinity. Marketplace, post office and supermarket are also within walking distance. Small disadvantage: Every morning at around 6 a.m. a rather noisy beach maintenance vehicle drives around directly in front of the campsite.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Birgit N.May 2013Very nice and small campsite. Very informal. If you like it smaller, this is the right place for you, without animation and frills. Located right by the sea. Unsuitable for large motorhomes. Very clean sanitary facilities. The owners take great care of the site. Very close to the town with lots of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful owners.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Friedrich W.September 2012Beautiful little campsite right on the water. Excellent sanitary facilities with a wonderful view. Good restaurant, nice service, everything great. Pitches very small but nice. We have been there several times and will be going again in September 2012.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Thorsten 1.October 2011Beautiful little pitch right by the sea/beach. No road between the campsite and the beach! The beach slopes very gently into the water (ideal for small children). Pitches quite small (1 VW bus plus awning was just enough) and very dusty. Sanitary facilities very nice (terracotta tiles) and clean. Hot... showers at no extra cost. You have a sea view from the sinks! Grocery store max. 200m away. Surfboard/canoe rental right next door. Wonderful sunsets. A place for connoisseurs! If you are looking for entertainment/action or similar, this is not the place for you!Samodejno prevedeno.
- Achim S.September 2011Nice little campsite right on the beautiful bay of Agay. With less than 50 pitches, the site is very small, so we recommend booking in advance, especially for the approx. 10 (?) pitches right next to the wire fence/wall in front of the water. The very narrow strip of beach in front of the site is not... very inviting, but the wide and beautiful main beach of Agay 100-200 m further on is all the more so. The sanitary facilities are clean and acceptable, but 4 ADAC stars are greatly exaggerated in my opinion. The public restaurant "Vue Mer" in the main building is priced at a relatively high Azur level, also with regard to the magnificent view. However, you have to get your breakfast baguette from the town, which is ok if you have a bike.Samodejno prevedeno.
