One superficial cleaning a day and that's it. Although there is dirt everywhere on the tiles, radiators, etc., it is not removed. The grates of the drainage shafts on the pitch pose a considerable risk of accidents. With a dog you have to walk really long distances and there is simply no dog meadow or anything similar.
The electricity boxes urgently need to be replaced. We didn't like the fact that they were made of construction steel from earthing posts and were jammed in a makeshift manner.
The friendliness of the staff could be improved considerably.

Very small sites, plumbing that is cleaned 1x a day while more often is really necessary with such crowds, noisy in everything (campers, highway nearby and barking dogs) and very unfriendly staff make us never go back to this campground. The pitches are beautifully situated and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. The direct proximity to the Sûre and to Echternach makes the stay particularly varied and... offers something for everyone. For sports enthusiasts, there is a great circular running track of approx. 8 km, which will also delight joggers. Those who prefer to be out and about on the water can go canoeing or swimming on the Sûre. The campsite's outdoor pool is also a great place to relax and cool off. Too badWe arrived on Good Friday full of anticipation.
The access road was a little poorly signposted but manageable. The site is in a very good location.
But that was it!
Sanitary building in the area of the bridge in a desolate condition and dirty. 3 showers for the area is extremely few and should be very... tight at peak times.
The chemical toilet was a chamber of horrors. So filthy that you could have thrown up even before entering.
The building shone with open windows and doors so that you froze your ass off at below 10 degrees and mirrors disappeared under a wall of fog.
It is standard in showers today in well-run facilities to have so-called "Flitschen" to remove some of the dirt from the shoes and leftover water after showering! Here = no such thing!
Unfortunately, it was also the case that after Easter they had the idea to repair the ladies' area with corrosive and "apparently" dangerous paints and solvents. The question naturally arose as to why this was not done a week later when it was less busy?
Furthermore, sanitary building 3 was completely closed.
Conclusion: the sanitary facilities were a disaster
A huge minus is given for the promises that there would be rooms for teenagers in the so-called "Campertreff" which would be equipped with billiards, darts, etc. ...... In reality, there were no such rooms, just a sign.
Especially when it rains a lot this would have been necessary!!!
Speaking of the description, bread rolls had to be picked up from Norma and not ordered from the site itself as stated. Our daughter wanted to get these rolls but it was very modest to let her walk across the street outside the campsite.
Conclusion = empty promises can lead to an upset stomach!
Overall conclusion: More detailed information on the homepage would solve many misunderstandings! Lots of leisure activities and good infrastructureNegativnoEverything is actually great, only the access is a bit tight at peak timesReally great place with everythingWe have been visiting the site regularly with our family at Whitsun every year for around 25 years and will continue to do so for as long as we camp. The short vacation over Whitsun is always the highlight for our 2 families at the beginning of the season, and so our children have been traveling with... us from the beginning and last year our granddaughter was also there with her family for the first time and will probably continue this tradition. As every year, we look forward to Pentecost coming up again and being able to visit you again. We hope that you are all well after the flood and that you have survived the damage caused.
Oh yes, we have already taken over the tradition from our parents and our children will continue this tradition.
We are already looking forward to it and hope that Corona will not cause any problems.

Good for excursions to Luxembourg and the Eifel.NegativnoWake up every morning from the baker, no interpreter on site. narrow and crowded places.mmmhhh ..... what can you say.Our stay was in Aug 2019, I didn't find the price-performance ratio ok (too expensive). My son was bored despite the outdoor pool as he had no contact with the other children. He didn't speak Dutch and the other children didn't speak German. The seats were very narrow and small, the neighbor almost sat... on your lap :-). The wash houses were only cleaned once a day which is not enough for the amount of people. No waste water and fresh water on site. For excursions to Luxembourg Trier and Bitburg the place is well located. The staff was very nice you can not say otherwise. The showers were not up to date. There was a party on the pitch at the weekend and you don't have to worry about waking up. From 7:45 a.m. the baker drives across the square honking his horn. Sleeping in is not an option. The bread rolls at the bakery were not my favorite, so I went to Norma in the morning to get some. Can I recommend this place? If you know Dutch and like it tight, yes, otherwise unfortunately no. Was there in the main season 2019... 99% in Dutch hands which is ok for me! The place is functional and designed for Hölländische guests everything is written in Dutch! For us Ok / pitches you have to look we were lucky and had a quiet place ... otherwise a lot going on... on the paths! Water supply depending on the pitch long ways! The wash house was only cleaned once a day... far too little the house often looks like the last pigsty (the operator is not to blame) the employees were always nice and friendly only the French fries man is very moody! The surroundings are beautiful and Luxembourg anyway! You have to like it there ... it's big and crowded / shopping 100m from the squareSamodejno prevedeno.
Michael S.August 2019PozitivnoRiver, outdoor pool, proximity to Echternach...NegativnoContact of children due to foreign languages, dog walking...Vacation on the border river...We spent 2 weeks in Echternacherbrück this summer vacation. 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. We had pitch 235 and it is very cramped in this area. With our 5m caravan we had to make a lot of effort to fit everything in. The car always had to be parked with 2 people to avoid damaging anything. The site is... surrounded by the river "Sauer", in which we could swim and of course in the great outdoor pool. There is a lot on offer for the children, but some things could do with an overhaul. The campers' meeting place doesn't look very inviting. The "games without boundaries" in the morning were also not very interesting for our children. The children had some difficulty making contact because there were mainly guests from the Netherlands and Belgium on the site. We visited Trier and Luxembourg, which are very interesting cities. With the dog, you always had to go to the other side of the river if you wanted him to run around. It was a lovely 2 weeks and we got to know some very nice people, but we probably won't be back...Samodejno prevedeno.
