- Bert S.September 2022PozitivnoFresh water / waste water / electricity at the pitch Free WLanNegativnoToilet paper must be brought alongAffordable space with good facilitiesI made two one-night stops at the Wiiken tourist campsite in September. The grassy pitches are accessible via spacious paved access roads. The grass was naturally dried out after the summer, but that's just the way it is. The pitches are quite large and one corner is equipped with supply columns for... electricity and water. The waste water connection is next to it. You should have four to five meters of waste water hose with you.
The sanitary facilities were very clean, but could be a little small when the site is full. Toilet paper must be brought, hot water for showering is free.
WLan is free on the campsite. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast rolls are available on the neighboring pitch.
There are restaurants within walking or cycling distance at the Thülsfelder Talsperre.
I paid €14.50 for an overnight stay as a single traveler with electricity, water, waste water on site, free showers and free WiFi. That's really very reasonable for what's on offer. I will definitely be staying here again.

We stood on a very large pitch. Very nice owners. Wash house clean, until campers leave it themselves.Samodejno prevedeno. - Barbara N.September 2021Pozitivnolarge pitches Tourist pitch / permanent campers separate PriceNegativnoWifi not available on all pitchesRelaxing at the Thülsfeld damThe Wilken tourist site is still relatively new, a few hundred meters from the Thülsfeld dam.
It is a good starting point for long cycle tours (junction system).
There is no kiosk, entertainment or similar on the site.
Bread rolls can be ordered on the main square.
All in all, a simple campsite, but one that offers many opportunities for individual vacations.Samodejno prevedeno. - Sven Eric B.May 2013We landed on this campsite by chance at Pentecost and were very satisfied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are excellent. You just have to bring your own toilet paper. If you know what to do, it's ok. The playground is nice, but a bit dangerous in my opinion (the climbing... area). What we liked was the drainage on the pitch, no more "flooding" in heavy rain. The pitches are very spacious. WLAN is available (for a fee). We were lucky and were in the front area...so reception, the rest were unlucky. The campsite left a good impression on us, which was of course also due to the nice people around us. As you know, every stay depends on that. We will definitely come back again.Samodejno prevedeno.
- Klaus T.May 2013Newly created tourist site with large and easily accessible pitches. WLAN (chargeable) available, but can only be received on the front pitches. Super friendly and helpful operators. Located in the immediate vicinity of the dam and the climbing forest. Dogs allowed and free of charge. There is a kiosk... on the neighboring pitch. Ice cream and cold drinks at the reception. We were allowed on the site from 09.00 in the morning and were allowed to stay until 22.00 on the day of departure. Tip: There is no toilet paper in the sanitary area. So bring your own.Samodejno prevedeno.
