"very nice well-kept campsite - We had a very nice pitch for our VW bus in the forest part of the campsite. The whole site is beautifully designed with lots of wood and attention to detail. The whole team is very nice and helpful. The sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned and kept clean. The tubes, which you can borrow free of charge, are great and you can float down the river with them. It's great fun! The only small drawback is the road opposite, which is very busy during the day.

"Back to the roots: A campsite with everything you need! - Forrestcamp in Morzirje is a modern campsite in a beautiful location. The team attaches great importance to supporting local businesses. For example, a baker regularly comes to sell regional baked goods on site. The campsite team is super friendly and accommodating and gives tips on excursions in the surrounding area or, for example, they booked a wine tasting for us at a neighboring winery, which was a particular highlight of our stay. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped, so you don't really need to bring anything with you. It doesn't get boring either, as you can borrow all sorts of things from reception (sports equipment, books, toys, etc.). The best part was the evening campfires, where we enjoyed sitting around with other guests.

"Gran lugar para ir de campamento! - Somos una pareja de argentinos, queriamos volver a pasar por la experiencia de salir de campamento y elegimos el mejor lugar en Eslovenia. Si buscas desconectar de todo para conectar con la naturaleza, tu gente y vos, es un buen lugar! Sin mucha electricidad (creo que la justa y necesaria), pero con mas bosque, río, aire puro, cielos estrellados, caminatas, fogatas... Si te gustan las rutas alternativas, conocer lugares nuevos y no tan conocidos, esta bueno conocer esta zona que no esta tan explotada turisticamente, pero que tiene mucho para ofrecer!

"Pure nature experience - The camp is in a really beautiful location, surrounded by nature and surrounded by greenery. The landscape in the area is a real highlight. A river with swimming spots and great views of the mountains is just a 5-minute walk away. It's a great place to cool off on particularly hot days! There is a large, well-equipped outdoor kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. There are campfire sites all over the site where you can sit around with other people in the evening or play the guitar. I usually travel alone and had a great time at the campsite. There was always someone to talk to and otherwise there is plenty of peace and quiet and nature to really relax in. Mozirje is located in a really beautiful part of Slovenia and is surrounded by many mountains. Perfect for hiking or climbing. The Logarska Dolina valley with various mountains and waterfalls is particularly worth seeing!

"Celje - Kamp je odličen za aktivno preživljanje dopusta. Otroci in odrasli smo se lahko kar v kampu razgibali na košarkarskem igrišču, igrali odbojko, nogomet, badminton... Kamp nudi tudi ogromno športne opreme: od frizbijev, žog, loparjev in perjanic za badminton, opremo za namizni tenis itd. Mlajši otroci se lahko zabavajo na igralih, gugalnicah, v peskovniku... Če si zaželiš malo miru se lahko umakneš v viseče mreže med drevesi ali pa na breg reke Savinje, ki je poleti tudi idealna za osvežitev. Kamp je tudi super izhodišče za pohodništvo in kolesarske izlete ali kakšno drugo doživetje (plezanje, kajak, ribolov...) Je odlično opremljen in prostoren, v kuhinji se najde vse, kar potrebuješ in še več. Sanitarije so čiste, osebje pa zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo. Še pridemo!

Profil

Forest Camping Mozirje is located two kilometeres from the village of Loke at town Mozirje in a forest by the river Savinja. It is a charming campsite offering various accommodations, pitches and creative experience of outdoor leisure activities amidst magnificent …nature. Our campsite is located in NATURA 2000 area, so we respect the nature and its animals. That's why we don't allowed any stereo music anytime and also after 10 PM we shut down all our lights, so that also animals can get a rest and nice sleep as our guests. You can choose among various meadow's: meadow with a mountain view, meadow for campers, vans and trailers with electricity plugs, or forest area. All the pitches are equipped with electrical connection. Guests can also rent a equipped Bell family equipped tents with all the beddings, or spend the night in a hammock out in the open. Additional there are several rental nifty wooden huts 'Forest bed' paying homage to the rich heritage of timber rafting on the Savinja River. Bathing in the river that flows by the site is virtually impossible to resist, offering perfect refreshment for those young at heart. In addition to accommodation, we also offer a varied range of sports activities, while the easy going types may prefer to relax in the tree crowns, perhaps with a book from our unique library set up for the bookworms among our guests. The guests can meet and mingle in different common areas. One is an open air fireplace for grilling or for evening socialising; the other is roofed and includes a fully equipped kitchen with roofed dining room for guests free use where you can get your first morning coffee or tea from our herb garden, as well as any other little thing you may have forgotten to take with you. There are two toilete areas and are located near to the accomodations areas. The area of Forest camping has Wi-Fi internet access, a mini library, and several sports facilities (backetball playground, small football playground)– all you need to get up close and personal with nature. Children will be delighted to play with our goats, horses and ducks at our mini camp animal park. Our offer involves a range of sports activities suitable for guests of all ages. At the campsite, you can play volleyball or speed badminton (or speedminton), table tenis, put your balance to test in slacklining or rent a bicycle to discover the surroundings.

The campsite is located 55 kilometres from the Ljubljana Airport and 30 km from the town of Celje. From the A1 motorway, take the Šentrupert exit and continue in the direction of Mozirje – Logarska dolina. When you reach town …Mozirje, turn left on second roundabout and follow the camping signs. From there is only 3 km away. Alternatively, from Ljubljana, take the Ljubljana – Kamnik – Gornji Grad – Nazarje – Mozirje main road. Buses/coaches from Ljubljana's main bus station will take you to Gornji Grad (http://www.ap-ljubljana.si/); subject to previous arrangement, we will take care of your transportation from town Gornji Grad to our camping.
