"Great place, great location, very nice staff - The location in a quiet place, above the hotspots is great. There are all the necessary stores in the village. The owners are super helpful and immediately had all the necessary bus and ferry timetables to hand. We arrived by bike and tent, which was no problem from the Napoli/Pompei side. Top place.

"Ideal CP for hiking and exploring the Amalfi Coast - My wife had problems with her teeth. The operator pulled out all the stops and we got an appointment with a dentist within an hour on a Saturday(!). Everything was ok again. All in all, a functional, clean campsite with a spectacular gate entrance. Bus stop right next door. Ideal starting point for many activities.

"Quiet location - Very quiet location - right next to the bus stop / bus ticket available from the landlord for 2 euros - very friendly hosts with good tips on wine shopping and food.

"Ideal starting point for campers for hiking - If you are traveling with a camper/tent and want to hike along the Amalfi Coast, this is an ideal starting point and the friendly host will provide you with all-round advice and information. Despite this, the site is spartan but adequately equipped.

"Exceptional, perfect for hiking - Great starting point for hikes, bus stop in front of the entrance, owners very nice and helpful, dogs welcome, pitches not parceled out, no problem with our California, but possibly with larger WoMos, sanitary old, but cleanliness ok, no catering on site but in a few minutes walk restaurant, pizzeria, bar, strange entrance through a large gate, we liked it! Something different!

" - A place that can only be assessed to a limited extent using the usual evaluation criteria. First of all, it is the only place we found on (above) the Amalfi coast - very positive. The site itself is more like a garden than a normal campsite. It is very cramped - just about manageable with our 6.8 m motorhome. The sanitary facilities are very basic, but clean and okay. The site is great for hiking on the Amalfi Coast, the operator is extremely friendly and helpful and the whole place is very "homely". I would also like to add that it is a positive exception to find a campsite that is open at all at this time of year in southern Italy.

HOW TO GET TO AGEROLA BY AIR* The closest airport is Naples-Capodichino. BY BUS* Next to the Train Station in Naples are the main bus stops with direct buses to the piazza directly in front of the Hostel/Campsite. *Should you …require any further information, in particular more detailed directions on how to get here, send us an e-mail and we’ll send you them asap. BY CAR* Agerola is around 24 km from the Castellammare di Stabia exit of the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway. Then you follow the signs up to Agerola. Once through the tunnel you are in Agerola, where you turn left after 600mt and continue 5km to the end, where you find yourself in San Lazzaro. BY TRAIN* The closest main train station is in Naples, around 45 Km from Agerola. The regional train, called the Circumvesuviana, connects Naples to Castellammare di Stabia, where a further bus line connects with Agerola. All provide as many as 38 trips a day to sites such as Pompei, Herculaneum, Sorrento and Capri.
