On the positive side:
Private sanitary was fine, everything was clean and ok.
Children had a lot of fun at the campsite. There is a lot on offer for the kids (swimming pool with great slides (lifeguards usually 6 or more, it was monitored... by camera and intervened immediately if something was wrong), indoor playground, several playgrounds spread over the site, pitch & putt golf (mega laughed, highly recommended), Kettcars, .....), staff always friendly and helpful, the store on the site has everything you need, bread rolls were also good in terms of price.
We tried the restaurant (pizzeria/pancake house) on the last evening and found it ok.
Now to the not so pleasant part:
The pitch (B3A) itself was a bit tight for our WW (9m long), as the car had to fit on it. When it rained, every pitch was soaked, we had 3! Tarpaulins underneath including the one with the inflatable edge and had water in the tent! Something would have to be changed.
Then there was the waste disposal area behind the hedge, where the garbage compactor ran several times a day because the garbage containers from the entire site were emptied into it beforehand. It was correspondingly quiet there at times.
This could be positioned elsewhere.
Then our nice neighbors (Dutch), whose kids did not run around our pitch even after repeated requests, but always in the middle and at a volume, addressed several times, nobody was interested.
A Halloween party was organized for the kids, the noise went on until about 23:30 with the chainsaw and the banging of the garbage cans. You can't do that when there are small children on the pitch.
If you are looking for fun for the kids and like muddy ground, this is exactly the right place. If it had been a bit quieter in terms of volume, I would have given it more points.Аутоматски преведено.

The swimming pool is just great and the restaurants and the surrounding area are also very nice.
Only the small pitches with private sanitary facilities spoiled the whole thing a bit, but it was only a short vacation.

There is the possibility to eat and you can also rent Kettcars. Arrival and booking are well organized. The outdoor areas are a children's paradise.NegativnoNoisy, crowded, swimming pool very fullLoud, large spaceWe had a lot of bad luck with neighbors partying during our stay, so much so that we even had to move once on two nights. But then it was even worse. Loud music that could be heard echoing through the various areas all day until late in the evening/night. Drunken large groups and groups of campers from... Germany caused general embarrassment. Nobody from the campsite was to be seen the whole weekend, nobody looked after things. On arrival, the first pitch was filthy with butts and leftover food. The neighbors had set up their caravan, awning and a pavilion in front of it almost in the driveway and half on our pitch. The pavilion was used for partying. Unfortunately, our awning didn't fit, and the site manager either didn't notice or didn't care. We called the reception at some point, but nobody contacted us afterwards and we didn't see anyone either. We're not actually fussy, we've been camping for years and are used to a lot from southern Europe. But the place is really expensive and then it's very annoying if you don't have a moment's peace and quiet.Аутоматски преведено.

We could "only" book Monday to Monday, which we were refused at de Leistert (only Sat to Sat). No problem at Marveld.
Initially, the site was 95% full, but at the end it was very empty due to the vacations ending in NL.
But even at full... capacity there were no restrictions.
A little paradise for children: Bowling, indoor pool with slides, outdoor pool with lots of slides, basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer and countless playgrounds, discreet entertainment with Toen & Ploen, mini disco, mini golf and much more: there's never a dull moment here.
Friendly, helpful staff.

However, this was also due to the fact that many pitches are in a kind of "hollow" and the water simply cannot drain away. These pitches would have to be filled in or leveled. We had a private... sanitary block at our disposal. Unfortunately, these houses are of the simplest construction (OSB boards sealed with paint) and therefore not really attractive (not even from the outside). But they are functional. We had a pitch with (heated) private sanitary facilities, which was very pleasant in the fall weather. The pitches are large enough and well maintained. The wash... houses were fine, considering the rainy conditions. However, the criticisms regarding the lack of soap, towels and storage facilities are entirely justified. The swimming pool is great and there is plenty on offer throughout the day. We couldn't do everything. The supermarket is well stocked and also reasonably priced for a campsite. The snack bar is okay in terms of food and prices. However, what is delivered in the pizzeria is simply a cheek. The pizza tastes like a cardboard box and the spaghetti carbonara was reheated pasta in an indefinable mush. I can't understand why the restaurant is fully booked every evening, but then suddenly a few seats are free on request. We didn't try the other restaurants You can fish at the ponds on the campsite without asking, which was great fun for our son. The "O" in Winterswijk is about 10 km away. There are also a number of restaurants and bars, none of which we used. The indoor climbing park is difficult to find and poorly signposted.
