"Rude and chaotic - The badly feigned politeness of the campsite owner is short-lived. It was only a short visit ... after 20 minutes the daily rate was already due - despite the indication that it would be a short visit ... next came the indication that the wrong entrance was used: an open double gate that was even named on their own website as a better way ... all in all, one cannot understand the high ratings. The attempt at a normal conversation was unfortunately also not crowned with success - here too, obvious arrogance and arrogance. The receipt for the daily fee had to be requested separately - a rogue who thinks evil! Conclusion: drive as far around as possible - there are much better and friendlier ways to spend your time on the Rhine

"Beautiful campsite directly on the Rhine - We made a request at short notice and the owner made it possible for us to arrive, despite the place being full. Registration was quick and uncomplicated. The campsite is right on the Rhine with a sandy beach. Very nice. Unfortunately there is no bread service on the site. The nearest bakery can be reached by bike in 5 minutes. W LAN is also not available. The toilets and showers are located in containers and can only be reached via a staircase. The ladies' showers in particular are very lovingly furnished and were always clean. Shower coins are required for showering. Small dishes such as pizza and tarte flambée are offered on site (very tasty). We liked it very much and will definitely be back.

"Beautiful place - After some of the bad reviews here, I went to the course with a stomach ache... But lo and behold, it was completely unfounded. We were given such a warm welcome that my worries subsided somewhat. The lady (I wanted to find out her name) at reception is really nice and helps wherever she can. The seats are not separated as I was used to until now. This was completely new to me, but we had a very nice pitch, even with a view of the Rhine. The toilets and showers are in containers, but they're beautifully arranged and don't get in the way at all. The cleaning lady does a great job, but unfortunately, like everywhere else, there are children who are not well-behaved and leave a mess behind, just like adults who don't know how to use a toilet brush. There are only two showers each for ladies and gentlemen, but I had no problems even though the place was full. The shower lasts 4 minutes and costs €1.20, a bit expensive but okay. It is pleasantly quiet on the pitch, at night you can hear the boats. I didn't hear anything ;-) I can only recommend coming here, it's beautiful. Oh, you can also buy little things like ice cream or beer at the reception. Edeka and Lidl can be reached by bike, very close.

"Very nice, simple and familiar campsite directly on the Rhine - A very quiet family campsite located directly on the Rhine. There are wonderful sandy beaches, friendly and always helpful operators. The central location between Düsseldorf, Neuss and Cologne makes excursions possible. Zins is in the immediate vicinity. Supermarkets in the village are easy to reach by bike. The sanitary facilities are in trailers, but this is necessary due to the risk of flooding. However, they are lovingly furnished and clean. The only drawback is that the 4-minute shower time per token is unfortunately not enough, as it takes a while for the water to heat up. There were no other negative points for us.

Dear Interested, great that you found us! Our campsite is located very idyllically directly on the Rhine in the Dormagen district of Stürzelberg in a remote location, directly on the banks of the Rhine in the nature reserve. It has …been run by the Ullrich family since 1932. Here you will find restful rest, play opportunities for your children and lots of run-out for your dog. Many pictures can be found under this link: https://www.strand-terrasse.de/bilder-galerie/ School classes and kindergartens are welcome, as are fitters. For enthusiastic water sports enthusiasts there is a boat-slip system on the campsite, see link: https://www.strand-terrasse.de/start/boot-slipanlage/. Leisure activities in Cologne or Düsseldorf can be easily reached by car or nearby public transport. We recommend the following sights: https://www.strand-terrasse.de/sehensw%C3%BCr. Directly on the square we operate a small kiosk with soft drinks, coffee and beer, as well as ice cream and sweets. In Stürzelberg there is a branch of Edeka and Lidl for food supplies.
