There are several whale-watching providers in Andenes. The site is Norway Like, functional, unparceled. Electricity is distributed everywhere. We were in the front row with our motorhome and enjoyed a wonderful sunset. There is a small children's playground. This campsite is in a fantastic location, very popular so gets hugely crowded with campers in the summer. There are no alternative campsites nearby, so NO CHOICE!!! No limit to how many people stay, the Toilet and shower facilities are totally inadequate for the... number of people staying. It is also appalling that the toilet door locks do not work properly, toilet flush is attached to a length of string!! It appears the owners are NOT Interested in giving a quality stay, only to maximise their own profits. In my opinion the facilities at this campsite are a huge embarrassment to Norway Travel and needs to be upgraded urgently!!! never stay at this site again!!!! I DO NOT Recommend this campsite in its present state.

The reception is only manned occasionally (from 5-10 in the afternoon). You therefore have to find your own pitch. Some of the pitches behind the dune are numbered. Simple sanitary facilities. Only 1 toilet and 2 showers (10 NOK) for men and women. Communal... kitchen and large, well-heated lounge. Free WiFi in the reception area. V/E pitch with electricity: NOK 220 Whale safaris can be booked at reception, but can also be booked in the village and online.Automatiskt översatt.- Nicola B.August 2016Positivagreat location, quietNegativanonePlace in a great locationWe spent 2 nights on this pitch. We had a great pitch right behind the dune. The beach is fantastically beautiful. The site itself is a flat meadow with free choice of pitches. First come, first served and the best pitches are yours. The sanitary facilities were relatively basic but clean. Only one shower... was flooded after showering. WLAN is only available in the reception area. The campsite is run by the same operator as the whale tours. The whale tours are highly recommended! A supermarket is within walking distance. Jörg B.July 2013Easy meadow terrain tw uneven but firm ground. No puddles in the rain. Flat dune landscape. Directly by the sea with sandy beach. Reception ONLY open 8-9:00 and 19-21:00. Pitch without barrier with free choice of pitch all day !!! Look for a free pitch and book later. Ideal for a trip to Andenes with whale watching (sperm whales and orcas). Several supermarkets in the village. Bunnpris on foot approx. 500m.Automatiskt översatt.
