"Fantastic location in a lake landscape - Small, well-kept site with approx. 136 pitches according to its own information. The majority of the pitches are distributed around a lake measuring approx. 100 x 300m. There are 2 narrow rivers running around the outside at an average distance of 10m from the lake, so that you stand on a narrow ring around the lake. A view of the lake is therefore almost guaranteed. Friendly reception in English and French. There is free choice of pitch. You can fish in the lake, which is also used by many French people; fishing licenses are available at reception. The pitches are spacious, have good grass and are generally bordered by hedges. There is a hiking trail around an adjacent lake right next to the campsite, where water sports are also available. WiFi is only available at reception and in the wash houses. There are currently no baguettes available at reception or within walking distance. In mid-September we paid around €22 for a mobile home with 2 people and electricity. Barbecuing with charcoal is permitted.

Profil

Les Deux Rivières campsite is located in a green valley between two arms of the Varenne river. You will be camping here by a two-hectare lake. The water-rich area in which this cosy municipal campsite is located is ideal for …anglers and other water sports enthusiasts. The pitches, surrounded by greenery and occasionally demarcated by hedges and trees, are wonderfully quiet. Les Deux Rivières is located on the Avenue Verte, an old railway line that has now been transformed into a 40-kilometre-long cycle and hiking trail. The campsite is located on a largely flat terrain with pitches on the meadow. Most pitches are located on the pond or river side. In general, there is a sense of space. The entire site offers space for about eighty camper pitches, forty permanent pitches and one camper van pitch. There is a nice playground for children. There is also a recreation room (with a foosball table). For a fee, you can also play a game of billiards or try your luck at the slot machine. An activity that is always fun is, of course, to challenge your camping neighbours to a game of table tennis or boccia. In the high season, themed evenings are organised (barbecue, paella, mussels). There is a supermarket two kilometres away. In Dieppe, there are several large supermarkets. Next to the campsite is a large water sports centre offering a wide range of activities, including canoeing, rowing, pedalo boating and windsurfing. The large lake is also a popular spot for fishing. There is plenty to do on land too, including archery and climbing.
