- Manfred B.september 2023PositivaPeace, price, sanitary facilities,NegativaToo much foliage on the pitchesRecommendableWe stayed at Le Brégoux for 9 days in September, but had booked for 14 days. Had to leave earlier for family reasons. We were only charged for 9 days. Very accommodating!
Very friendly staff. Value for money ok. 2 people with caravan + dog + electricity 29,10€. Nice playground. Nice pool. Sun and shade... on all pitches. Pitches big enough. 3 modern, new sanitary buildings. I have rarely experienced such clean sanitary facilities. Daily cleaning incl. disinfection. A food truck with grilled chicken comes on Saturdays. A pizza truck comes 1-2 times a week. 1 km to the town center. Very good bakery. Baguette + bread rolls can be ordered in advance on site. In September mainly older campers approx. 50% Dutch, 30% Belgian, 20% French, English, German. Many campers who have been coming here for years.
Too much old foliage on the pitches. Our small tent carpet under the awning was constantly full of leaves. This could certainly be remedied. Overall, however, a very recommendable, very quiet place at lunchtime and at night.Automatiskt översatt. - frank w.augusti 2022PositivaVery well-kept, shady, friendly, cleanNegativaNoneBeautifully maintained MuniAlways worth a stay. - Gerd B.oktober 2016PositivaManageable size and short distances to the townNo disappointments even after 33 yearsIf peace and relaxation are important to you, then this is just the place for you. The affordable price also allows families with children and senior citizens to enjoy a longer stay. In 1983, as in 2016, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the campsite were impressive. The crowd is very pleasant and the overall situation is simply feel-good. I have been coming back to this beautiful place for 33 years.Automatiskt översatt.
- Maranda S.april 2014PositivaMature trees, large pitches, new sanitary facilities, day trip optionsNegativaTown / shopping really not within walking distance. We chose Le Bregoux since we are fans of French municipal campgrounds and wanted to base ourselves in the Carpentras area. We strongly recommend this campground to anyone who does not need an on-site animation program or restaurant. Le Bregoux is a well-run facility with large sites (pitches) and many... mature trees. There really is a large variety of trees on the property. German, French, and English are spoken. Our site even had a view of Mt. Ventoux. Two of the three toilet blocks are freshly renovated, and the work was well done. Prices, for party of 5 adults and 1 child, were only 30 euros per night including electricity. Facilities were the usual ones with boule and a playground and wifi if you were located close to the reception. Management even held a little happy hour on Friday evening. Fresh bread was delivered daily (even in April). Bike trails were located across the street from the property. Shopping is about 1 km away. There is a large contingent of regular retirees who spend extended periods of time at the campground. These folks are friendly and do NOT create an odd vibe like at many campgrounds where long-term campers congregate. We spoke to one Swiss couple who are regulars there, and they said that this area of Provence is the nicest place they have found which is not on the water. Aubignan/Carpentras and Le Bregoux are centrally located for easy day trips to Mt. Ventoux, Avignon/Orange, the Luberon villages, and all of the wine areas. The campground is quiet and a bit outside of town. Thus, a car is a necessity here. We would definitely go back.
- Hans Martin F.maj 2013NegativaUnfortunately, I was not reimbursed for damage to my vehicle caused by the closing barrier. The site is located on the outskirts of Aubignon. The pitches are quite large and parceled out. Often grass but also sand/gravel. The site looks neat and tidy. From time to time you can hear planes taking off from a distant airport or people trying out their mopeds on the access road to the campsite.... Once there was a party in a neighboring house. It went on for 12 hours until 4 a.m. That was very hard. Otherwise the site is quite quiet. Baguettes can be ordered and sometimes a pizza van comes. The sanitary facilities are simple but always clean (2x daily cleaning) and sufficient, the showers were also good. Included in the price. The reception is often not occupied because the gentleman or lady is on the way to clean or instruct. The site is ideal for Dutch campers. Many spend the summer there. Overall a very good site with lots of pitches.Automatiskt översatt.
- Lothar B.oktober 2011Beautifully and quietly situated on the outskirts of the village. In the northern Provence. Close to Mont Ventoux. Good cycling and hiking opportunities. Ideal for traveling in the early or late season. However, the sanitary facilities are a simple imposition.Automatiskt översatt.
