The terracing means you always have a clear view over the bay. The pitches vary in quality and size, mostly with earth or gravel. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained (if you speak a few words of Italian, the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful).... There is also a small store on the campsite. In the low season with a small assortment. However, they are happy to provide additional items on request. The staff at the reception were friendly and helped us to plan excursions. We liked the Capitano restaurant on the campsite. There are several other restaurants/pizzerias along the beach (direct access from the campsite). There are also a number of leisure activities in the surrounding area (hiking, cycling/mountain biking, diving, sailing). The site offers various options for pitches. We had one. Space for the tent at the back of the site. Direct view of the sea. Further forward there were plenty of pitches for caravans and... motorhomes. Direct access to the beach on 2 sides. The rear access leads to a small not which is only used by the campsite. Small store and small restaurant on the site. For children there is a playground, children's entertainment and a pool. We would love to come back. Great pitches with a fantastic view over the whole bay. The place wasn't overcrowded either, but it was clean everywhere, there was always someone in the wash house to clean. Larger water sports equipment can also be brought to the sea with a short detour on... foot (no problem). Some of the paths on the site are very steep. Cars remain in front of the pitch after unloading. Super bay. Great in the low season, a bit busier during the Whitsun vacations. However, we chose the pitch because of this. The site is at best suitable for small camper vans or tents. The view is wonderful, but that's all. The ground is totally muddy when it rains, the sanitary facilities are from the 1970s, first no... hot water for showers, then no cold water. Beautiful surroundingsNegativaCapacities of the sanitary facilities somewhat scarceIt was nice thereWe were on Elba for the first time and had chosen the place because of the good reviews and the beautiful location. We were not disappointed. The approach from Portoferraio is easy even for larger vehicles via the SP26 towards Porto Azzurro and then on to the SP30. However, the direct route is also feasible.... Only the last 150 m to the pitch are narrow. On arrival, the possible courses are shown by golf cart. Due to the beautiful hillside location, access to some pitches is steep and sometimes narrow. The terraced pitches vary greatly in size. In general, I had the impression that the more beautiful the view (sometimes magnificent), the smaller the pitch. But there are enough spaces for larger vehicles. There are several rental properties on the site (which make a good impression), which are laid out in such a way that the "camping feeling" is not completely lost. The sanitary facilities are generally okay and very clean. However, they are already quite full at peak times in the low season. I wouldn't want to experience that in high season. The showers are pleasantly spacious, but terrible shower heads. So they are not practical. The site offers a beautifully situated swimming pool with a sea view. Access to the sea is a little awkward, but there's a great sandy beach with a very gently sloping shore. Very child-friendly. There is a small store with everything you need and a good restaurant. There are other restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. Cars can be parked in a special mat-covered parking lot, although this is obviously viewed more or less strictly. We liked it very much and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there.Automatiskt översatt.

The pitches vary in size and there are both shady pitches and pitches in the sun. There is a quiet and relaxed family atmosphere during the day and the site management is friendly and helpful. During our stay in early to... mid-July, there was loud entertainment on the campsite from 9.30 pm to 11.00 pm, which was mainly appreciated by the children. During the day there was also annoying animation from the pool on some days, but this was bearable on our pitch. In addition, depending on the direction of the wind, the animation from a nearby hotel could be heard more or less. After a few days, we simply stayed out longer in the evening, so we still enjoyed our stay. However, we won't be going back at this time of year. There are also quiet pitches with very nice views in the secluded higher area of the campsite, but you have to be lucky to get them. The campsite restaurant is good and there are alternatives within walking distance in the bay. The beach directly adjacent to the campsite is very small, but Lacona Bay is large enough to avoid it. It's easy to get into the sea and the bathing area is also suitable for small children because the sea only gets deeper slowly. Snorkeling Shallow, fine sandy beachNegativapossibly the stairs to the beach, for small children no slides or the like and the playground is not very well locatedsuuuper nice location!!! :-))I chose this campsite because I want to see the sea on vacation. Almost all the pitches here are on top of each other on the slope on the east side of Lacona Bay. That means sea view plus sunset. Just great! We had our e-bikes with us and because of the location almost in the middle of the island, we... were able to swarm out in a star shape. We discovered that we found the beach with the least "Rimini effect" (those awful sun loungers). They are here too, but fewer of them. The beach is fine sandy and very shallow. Children and dogs play amicably in the water here. We also went snorkeling a lot. There are an amazing number of fish right at the edge below the campsite. The bar at the opposite end of the bay is beautiful and the Aperol Spritz is really delicious. The new saltwater pool is a bit small, but it scores with a gigantic view over the bay. The restaurants are all good. The ones right on the beach are a bit more expensive than the ones at the back. The CP restaurant is almost the best! Conclusion: highly recommendedAutomatiskt översatt.

Even in July it was always very quiet and pleasant, as there is no mass tourism in the area during the day or in the evening. Many pitches have multiple views. We had booked a chalet with a sea view, simply fantastic when you hear and see the sea at breakfast in the morning. However,... the chalet seems to be getting on a bit (broken lights, shower head etc). Wonderful beach, Lacona, umbrellas for rent + Ristorante, shower, toilet and changing room, at Bagni Orano, with whom you can also negotiate the umbrella price. The sea is clear and clean, ideal for children. There are good restaurants in the area (e.g. Da Ledo or Il pirata). But there is also a restaurant and a store with delicious food at the campsite. For the less sporty (like us) the campsite was sometimes a bit too steep as it is on a hill. All in all, it was an unforgettable vacation & we would recommend the campsite to anyone.Automatiskt översatt.

- Manfred P.May 2012Hello, I was in a chalet for 4+1 people at the end of May (Whitsun). At that time the campsite was not yet overcrowded. The mini market on site is small, but everything you need is available. The chalets with a sea view have a great view of the bay of Lacona, as do many of the other pitches. Our chalet... was clean and in order. I can't really judge the general sanitary facilities exactly, but they looked clean from the outside. As everywhere on Elba, the paths in the campsite can include a few meters of altitude. Parking directly next to the tent, caravan or chalet is usually not possible, but there is relatively little traffic on the site. I would use the campsite again at any time.Automatiskt översatt.
