    Good for one night
    This campsite covers the basic needs to some extent. Friendly reception, free wifi. Nice lounge. Outdoor shower takes some getting used to. Town within walking distance.

    A éviter - to be strongly avoided
    This is one of the most expensive campsites we've been to in Iceland. The paths are not well maintained and are covered in mud. Showers are limited to a single jet, and cabins are on the ground and have no roof.

    Typical city campsite on a large meadow with electricity connections. Sanit. Facilities are kept as clean as possible, but not enough when fully occupied. Shopping facilities, supermarket and indoor swimming pool within walking distance. To the center of Stykkisholmur approx. 10 min. gas stations available. Medical care possible in the hospital.
