Even on the phone you're greeted with a warm welcome, which is really nice. The campsite is not strictly divided into permanent campers and guests, which I liked. The pitches are very generously parceled out! I like that because it doesn't feel like a rip-off.... Lots of Dutch people! That's always a good sign, they know where to stay. Unfortunately, the paths are a bit long... but you have time on vacation. You might hear the announcements for the entertainment program a few times a day... Our neighbors can at least have a say. There is simply nothing to complain about here, everything is constantly being expanded and renovated (especially the sanitary facilities). I can only say good things about this site. There is a restaurant directly on site with really excellent cuisine with large portions at really reasonable prices. The whole site is very well maintained and has great access to the lake with... a clean beach. Party people are wrong here, the operator can't please everyone, unfortunately that's the way it is. Despite everything, it is renovated every year for the guests, even if it takes longer. The price-performance ratio is top. We are not in Spain but live in Carinthia. There are many natural attractions in the area, such as a waterfall, small and large mountains, a moor with a nature trail and much, much more. The area is ideal for cycling and hiking due to its numerous side roads with very little traffic.... The children's club was so popular with our 9 year old daughter that we stayed a few days longer than planned. The sanitary facilities, with one exception, are getting on in years, but mostly clean, of course it can happen in the high season that not everything is perfect, but then these are our camping colleagues who don't know what the toilet brush is for. In short, a place for nature lovers who want to get some exercise or just relax. Had a pitch at the bottom of the lake (sector A), near the "sanitary facilities" indicated - we thought it was ideal with children (not far to the showers etc...) - which unfortunately turned out to be wrong. The "sanitary facilities" at the bottom consist of two old... musty toilets - no shower, no hot water - would be great if they didn't call it a facility or mention it in advance. The nearest showers in the log cabin are just as old and musty. We couldn't and didn't want to stay there with our children. The lake is quite nice, as is the mini store. The "sanitary facilities" marked on the map next to pitch no. 342 are the beach toilets! This will be corrected in the pitch plan soon. Thank you for the information!
We have three sanitary facilities in the entire area. The "Blockhaus" facility you mentioned will be completely renovated... this fall and will be the last to be brought up to standard. I agree that this facility is no longer up to date. Unfortunately, the lower sanitary facilities and those on the beach are very dated and smell strongly, so I would only give it 2 stars. The upper ones, however, are new and clean. It is very annoying for families with small children.VacationI like the campsite very much. I must have been there 8 times myself because everyone is very nice. It's like one big camping family. When you arrive you feel welcome right from the start.
