Unfriendly owner. Bar closes early and kitchen closed most of the timeVery expensive and disappointingNice location, a bit scruffy and showers and toilets not that clean. We had two disabled people who struggled with the 27 steps up stairs to the toilets and showers. I esplained the problem to the owner and I was told that no camping places on the Mosel have toilets and facilities at ground level because... of flooding - not true. We were charged 40 Euro per night although we had no electricity as the box was locked. The owner was rude and unhelpful and full time campers on the site we spoke to were also considering moving as the facilities like food and bar were more restricted now. Via the direct Moselle cycle path you can reach Cochem after approx. 18 km, on the other side after approx. 2 km to Ediger-Eller with nice wine taverns, restaurants and shopping possibilities in a "corner store". The Moselle cycle path crosses the site. It was our first time on this site and we were lucky enough to get a Moselle pitch. The reception was very friendly and the restaurant was also good. It's a small, cozy campsite right on the Moselle. The Moselle cycle path runs across the campsite (between the pitches and the tent meadows). We pitched our tent on the tent meadow and were free to choose a pitch. In the evening,... we were usually joined by a few bicycle campers.
There was a small snack bar on the site (the menu was posted daily on the notice board) and a burger joint just outside the site, which isn't bad either. There isn't much in Nehren itself, but there are some good places to eat in the neighboring villages. You can also get there quickly on foot or by bike via the Moselle cycle path. This campsite is a good starting point for various hiking tours (short drive by car).
Note (no criticism, as somehow understandable): You have to bring your own toilet paper to the toilet.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but always kept clean.Otomatik olarak çevrildi. 
Petra W.August 2020Olumlu yanlarıQuiet, beautiful pitchesOlumsuz yanları-/-Beautiful place in a great locationMany places on the Moselle were fully booked, but here we still got a place and that was really lucky, because we got to know another great place on the Moselle ;-) There are beautiful pitches here, some under shady walnut trees and some in the sun. We noticed that, compared to other places on the Moselle,... it is quite quiet here in terms of road noise, boat traffic and trains. The Moselle cycle path runs right past the site and there are also well-kept, spacious lawns right by the river where you can sit down and enjoy the view of the river. You can also swim here and we let our dogs splash around.
There is a large selection of freshly baked goods to order every day and a small snack bar. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean.
You can also start beautiful hikes from here and then enjoy the view from the top (Römerberg). There is not much going on in Nehren, but in neighboring Senheim, which is within walking distance, there are several beer and wine gardens and a good ice cream parlor.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

There were only a few guests on the pitch. It was correspondingly quiet on the pitch. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was good, sometimes very good. The pitch itself was large enough for a larger caravan, and my impression was that all the pitches were... plated. The location of the site is wonderful, there is no railroad noise, only sometimes the road can be heard. The ships cause some noise depending on their soundproofing, but I found it very bearable. There are only trees in a few places on the site, otherwise you are in an open area. There are a little few taps for fresh water, you don't like to tap fresh water right next to the chemical toilet disposal. I would definitely choose this pitch again.Otomatik olarak çevrildi.

Sanitary facilities always clean, but on the 1st floor above the restaurant. Restaurant with a small menu, and bread service, as well as the most necessary for shopping. The pitches are large enough and all on grass. The pitches at the front of the Moselle... are of course the best. We had a pitch in the middle row. However, there is only one wash house and if you are at the end of the pitch it is quite a long way to get there. There are plenty of them along the Moselle.The campsite is located on a kind of inland island in the Moselle (but is connected to the bank by bridges and dams). The Moselle cycle path virtually runs through the campsite. You can get out of the Moselle valley in Senheim in both directions, which is really handy if you want to go to the Eifel or... the Hunsrück. The site only has one sanitary facility, which is unfortunately at one end where there are almost only permanent campers. This is not so well organized.
