"Urlaub auf Rab - Schöner Campingplatz, In unmittelbarer Nähe zu der Altstadt Rab. Das Meer fällt flach ab.

"Rundum-Versorgung - Buchung hat wunderbar geklappt - die Campingplätze sind größtenteils schattig, geräumig, eben und sauber vom Nachbarn parzelliert. Die Sanitäranlagen sind makellos und stets sauber. Es gibt einen zentralen Platz mit gutem Lebensmittelgeschäft, Modeladen, Bio-Obst- und Gemüsestand, Bäcker, Café und Eisdiele - da bleibt kaum ein Wunsch offen. Am schmalen Strand gibt es einen Aqua-Park, das Wasser ist seicht, es ist sandig. Die Poolanlage bietet Rutschen und Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder, einen tieferen Pool zum Schwimmen, kostenlose Liegen und eine Bar. Es gibt mehrere und auch gute Restaurants. Besonders positiv war der Taxi Boot Service (4€ p.P.) nach Rab Stadt direkt vom Platz aus. Es gibt auch einen Sportplatz, schön gelegene Mobilehomes - eigentlich fehlt es an nichts! Das Personal ist freundlich, spricht größtenteils Deutsch. Das abendliche Unterhaltungsprogramm (Zaubershow, Life Music) schallt natürlich über den gesamten Platz. Wer sich kaum vom Platz fortbewegen will und sämtliche Infrastruktur und Unterhaltung vor Ort sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Für Individualisten ist der Platz wohl zu kommerziell. Wir fanden ihn für einen kurzen Stopp von drei Nächten mit Kindern gut. Länger hätte ich es wohl nicht gewollt.

"Leider das erste und letzte Mal - Zuerst das Positive: Die Wasch- und Toilettenhäuser sind supersauber. Aber: Viel zu voll der Platz. Jedes kleinste verfügbare Plätzchen wird belegt. Kleine Plätze. Aus der Dusche kommen nur Rinnsäle an Wasser. Was am meisten stört. Ab morgens 8:00h kein Platz mehr am Strand zu ergattern. Das liegt daran, dass dies kein Privatstrand sondern ein öffentlicher Strand ist. Das geht eigentlich gar nicht bei den horrenden Preisen für den Standplatz. Viel zu teuer. Rab ist insgesamt schon recht teuer. Sorry, aber wir werden nicht mehr hierher kommen.

"Schöner Campingplatz nähe Rab - Tolle CP Anlage mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Stellplätze frei wählbar. Wir hatten einen schönen großen Schattenplatz. Der Sandstrand ist super für Kinder, man kann ewig ins Meer laufen. Wem das nicht gefällt, es gibt auch steinige Buchten. Der Hundesteand ist so einer. Gut für kleine Hunde zum abfrischen. Vorsicht viele Seeigel. Die Stadt Rab erreicht man mit dem Fahrrad entlang der Strandpromenade in 10 mins. Restaurants am Platz sehr gut. Personal des kompletten CP super freundlich. „Unser“ waschhaus war geschlossen dafür wurden uns 20% gutgeschrieben 👍🏼

"Überbuchter Platz - Generell ist der Platz ganz ok. Wie in einigen anderen Bewertungen geschrieben, ist der Strand und Poolbereich leider sehr klein, sodass es in der Hauptsaison schwierig ist einen geeigneten Liegeplatz zu bekommen. Da wir das von Anfang an wußten, war das aber weiters kein großes Problem. Das was bei uns (und einigen anderen Urlaubern) überhaupt nicht funktioniert hat war die Buchung. Bekanntlich kann man bei Valamar nur in bestimmten Zonen aber nicht einen konkreten Platz buchen. Soweit ok. Wir haben also bereits im Frühjahr 22 einen Platz im Poolbereich gebucht. Auch wenn mir klar war, dass dies nicht berücksichtigt wird (kennt man ja von Valamar) habe ich einen Stellplatzwunsch angegeben, der der Buchung auch hinzugefügt wurde. Zwei Tage vor Anreise habe ich bereits auch schon den Online Check in durchgeführt und meine Ankunftzeit angegeben. Ich bin also davon ausgegangen, dass wenn ich ankommen, ein Stellplatz im Poolbereich zur Verfügung stehen wird. Leider habe ich mich hier getäuscht. Als ich angekommen bin, hat man mir mitgeteilt, dass in der gebuchten Zone kein Platz frei ist! Angeblich kein Fehler vom Platz, sondern Valamar überbucht die Zonen, sodass es dazu kommen kann, dass die gebuchte Kategorie nicht zur Verfügung steht. Es konnte uns auch nicht gesagt werden wann ein Platz in der gebuchten Zone frei werden würde. So mußte wir einen Tag auf einen Stellplatz in einer anderen Zone ausweichen. Ich habe mitbekommen, dass dies bei mir kein Einzelfall war. Es sollte für ein Unternehmen wie Valamar doch möglich sein, ein vernünftiges Buchungssystem auf die Beine zu stellen, mit dem man konkrete Plätze für einen konkreten Zeitpunkt buchen kann. Solange das nicht möglich ist und man mittlerweile sogar davon ausgehen muss, dass man nicht mal mehr in die gebuchte Zone kommt, werde ich Valamar Plätze meiden.

"Schöner Campingplatz mit Sandstrand - Guter Campingplatz auf RAB mit Sandstrand. Genügend Sanitärhäuser in unterschiedlicher Güte . Pool eher für Kinder geeignet. Strand flach. Taxiboot fährt direkt vom Platz regelmäßig nach RAB. Boojen für Boote ausreichend vorhanden. Alles im allen ein guter Platz zum erholen. Standplätze können bei Ankunft gemäß der Kategorie ausgesucht werden, sofern genügend vorhanden. Poolside auch für größere Gespanne nutzbar und auch teils verschattet. Poolside direkt am Eingang klein und direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
