- Kristina M.November 2024Always a pleasureIt was great. Super easy as you simply drive through the barrier onto the pitch using the license plate number you entered when booking online. No need to queue or speak again. The site is in a beautiful location and you can start hiking straight from there. The sanitary facilities are very clean and... there are bathrooms in which the washbasin, toilet and shower are in one room, so you have your own complete bathroom. Mega. The restaurant is also highly recommended. Super friendly and the price/performance ratio is also right. It's super quaintly furnished, really cozy. We will definitely be back.Automatski prevedeno.

However, there were some discrepancies at reception. There was probably something wrong or the lady was having a very bad day. We don't know. In any case, the reception was not very warm.

For e-cars there is a parking lot in front of the barrier where there are no parking fees when charging, simply enter online. What struck me and other campers as very negative is the friendliness at the reception, which fortunately did not apply to every person. You get the feeling that they prefer you to clarify everything by email. The only thing 😟 I imagined differently with 5 star superior are the toilets and showers. Everything tip top but this cabin style of the toilets is just not our thing😂. The permanently installed toilet... brush holders showed everything from the predecessor, the new showers are also great but there is already a lot of mold formation and the stone floor in the middle aisle is unfavorably chosen. - Gabriel S.October 2024EifelcampThe very annoyed lady had allocated us pitch 010 Eichhörnchenweg. We came from Spain and the online reservation didn't work on the way.
The pitch was very narrow, but ok.
The campsite is very tidy and an Eldorado, especially for families with children. You can walk well with dogs. But €5.50 per dog is very excessive.
We paid as much for 1 day as we would have paid in Spain for 3 days. Mind you, this is low season.

We highly recommend the sauna, which you can rent privately for a few hours, TOP!
We also love eating at the Waldläufer restaurant on the campsite.

The only drawback is the gravel surface whose stones stick to the shoes and are stepped on everywhere. The key was there, the site plan showed our rented house perfectly, the sanitary facilities were extremely clean, the staff were friendly, they even cleaned on Sunday. The restaurant "der Waldläufer" was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. It was a successful weekend and we will be back.Automatski prevedeno.
