- Mario B.September 2022PositivePlenty of space at this time of day. Very nice reception. The pine forest is great, where you can jog, cycle and walk.NegativRisk of flooding in heavy rain.Recreation in September 23.09 to 27.09We had a good rest. Unfortunately you notice the low season in the restaurant. P.S. The food was delicious.Automatisk oversat.
- Johannes L.June 2019PositiveInexpensive, everything you need is in town, bike paths available, beautiful sandy beach only a few 100 meters away, enough space with a large WowaNegativNo longer in top condition, in the evening sometimes a lot of noise from a disco or similar,Increasingly decayingSeven years ago, the site was absolutely top-notch, but nothing has been invested in it, so it looks increasingly run-down. There is a lot of junk lying around and the sanitary facilities are only being patched up in a makeshift manner. However, we only paid 20 euros with a large camper van, two adults and a child. We would still like to come back to Bibbona, but perhaps to a different site.Automatisk oversat.
- Bodo H.May 2019Positivebeautiful pool, beautiful beach, great jogging and cycling route to Cecina.NegativThe noise late into the night is extremely unpleasant. Was top until 2013 and then got worse from year to yearWe stayed at the site at least once a year from 2003 to 2019, either in the early or late season. We liked the pitches with private bathrooms and kitchens. The disadvantage was always the noise until after midnight. Both from the neighboring pitches and from our own site. Sleeping is not possible until... then. 3 different music systems overlap. The private bathrooms are pleasant, but in need of renovation.
The whole place looks dingy. We never used the general security facilities. But they looked clean. When it rains, you drown. The water in the paths is then up to 20 cm high and the pitches are totally muddy. The pool is very well maintained. It is closed from 7pm to 10am and is cleaned by a robot. The restaurant on site is quite good but very expensive. The supermarket has the essentials. Prices are ok. The bar is also quite expensive.
The sandy beach is about 800m from the campsite. Very pleasant during the week. Very crowded on the WE. The pine forest is ideal. At 30 degrees you can still go jogging or cycling in the forest. It's shady and always a bit windy. We will not visit the site again in the future because of the noise pollution and the dingy overall impression.Automatisk oversat. - Roland W.June 2016PositiveNice CP. Close to the beach. Super pool which is always supervised. (lifeguard)NegativNarrow access road with caravans on the CP. Getting on in years.Generally goodWe were on this campsite in summer 16. All in all, a nice place that has something to offer for all age groups.Automatisk oversat.
- Jörg G.September 2015PositiveNice pool, quite close to the seaNegativPlace generally getting on in years, Shower private bathroom smallVacation in Tuscany by the seaThe Free Time campsite in Tuscany is signposted shortly before the destination. The gate entrance is quite wide and then it gets narrower. But with a bit of skill you can manage it. The man at reception was very friendly and made every effort to compensate for our lack of foreign language skills. The... access roads to the pitches with private sanitary facilities are really narrow. Our WWG was 2.50 m wide and just fitted through. The best part visually is certainly the pool. However, it was quite cool at the end of September. The sanitary buildings are southern but quite clean. We then switched to a pitch with private sanitary facilities. The extra charge, quite cheap with ACSI, was not really worth it. The pitch itself was very spacious but the shower cubicle was very small and very dated. Bread rolls can be ordered from the small store. But there were none on Sundays at the end of September. The sea can be reached through a small pine forest almost at ground level in about +/- 800 meters. The beach is not a bright Baltic Sea but dark sand. The relatively close highway can be heard a bit. There is not much going on in the village at this time of year. The much-mentioned young people were also there, but could hardly be heard. Recommendation, the campsite Le Esperidi, just around the corner also has ACSI which we unfortunately did not know, is much more modern, nicer, more spacious and right on the beach.Automatisk oversat.
- Dirk P.August 2014Camping with own kitchen and bathroomWe camped at the campsite for the last week of August and the first two weeks of September. We rented a pitch with its own kitchen and bathroom, which was very pleasant. In this respect, we can't say anything detailed about the sanitary facilities. The staff are very friendly and happy to help (note:... English is required). Cold packs can be frozen free of charge at reception. The supermarket on site has everything you need and there is a very nice large COOP in Cecina where we bought everything we needed. The campsite is a bit away from the sea (approx. 1km). However, there is a regular electric trolley service to the pine forest, so it's easy to get to the beach (even with larger beach equipment). The beach is well maintained and there is a lifeguard on duty in high season. If you go to the right behind the 2nd beach hut, it becomes emptier. The hawkers are a bit annoying every minute, but they are usually not very pushy and move on after a "no". The swimming pool at the campsite (note: swimming cap compulsory, €1.50 in the store) is ok but in our opinion not suitable for spending a whole day in. Lifeguards and sun loungers are available. Remarkable: no sun loungers may be reserved with towels. The lifeguard also enforces this very consistently! The restaurant on the campsite was disappointing - if we didn't cook ourselves, we went into town. There are several restaurants there - everyone has to try them out for themselves. There is entertainment, which is barely noticeable during the day. Please note: the entertainers only speak Italian! The evening events take place in a separate area called "The Cage". There is a real show stage but, as already mentioned, everything is only in Italian. Conclusion: We had a private kitchen and a private bathroom for the first time on a camping vacation - absolutely recommendable, even if it is significantly more expensive than just a pitch. We (2 adults and 1 child (6 years)) liked the pitch itself very much and we can recommend it without reservation if you don't want to have a swimming pool for the whole day.Automatisk oversat.
- Jürgen H.May 2013Mobile homes are old and very spartanly equipped. However, cleaning was very clean. The pizzeria is mediocre to unsatisfactory.2x pizza eaten, once my son got his pizza only when we others have already eaten theirs. Burnt pizzas seem to be common (2 pieces were burnt at the next table), a pizza we ordered... the next day was also burnt. The place is quiet and quite central in terms of transportation. Florence can be reached in 1:15 hours. The staff are really very friendly and respond very quickly to any problems (the shower tap wouldn't turn off). The mobile homes are not equipped with air conditioning, despite the corresponding Suncamp ID. The heating is not sufficient for night temperatures of 10 degrees. The sea can be reached via a road a good 1 km away. The stated 0.7 km is not correct in my opinion.Automatisk oversat.

- Jürgen W.June 2010Whitsun 2010, no reservation required, friendly staff, great pool area. 10 min walk to the small village and to the beach about 15 min. We felt very comfortable. Small supermarket, bistro and restaurant. Great price with ADAC Camp-CardAutomatisk oversat.
