The site is in a fairly quiet location. There is no parcelling. Most of the pitches are under tall deciduous trees with grass and earth. The rear part of the site makes a somewhat unkempt impression. The swimming pool and restaurant make a good impression. The... sanitary facilities were clean, but in poor condition. (Washbasin in WC attached with adhesive tape, shower head holder turning, wall panels falling off). The owner's large dog barked at midnight on 2 out of 3 nights. The site has a swimming pool, but unfortunately this is open to the public and was very busy at the time of our arrival. In addition, we were unfortunately not informed at check-in that a public karaoke event was also planned for the evening.... At 18 p.m. the campsite was filled with loud music. According to inquiries at reception, this is usually the case in summer and the end of the event cannot be specified (open end). We left the same evening due to the noise. We would like the campsite to point out such events before check-in, so that potential campsite visitors can at least still decide. Only the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but clean! The campsite manager is young and uncomplicated. The pitch was freely selectable (not parceled out!!), nice grassy ground, shady. Spacious pitch with many permanent campers. The regular tourist pitches are rather small and under trees. Simple washroom building, but mostly clean. Unfortunately no washing and changing facilities for babies. During our stay there... was only one shower/washroom and toilet room for men and women, unfortunately without washing cubicles. Adapter required for Italy! Quietly located pitch with a great view of the mountains. Small restaurant on the site. Narrow access road. Conclusion: A good alternative to the pitches on Lake Maggiore.Automatisk oversat.

- Björn A.August 2011I was here in august and was very pleasantly surprised. we actually wanted a campsite directly on lago maggiore, but everything was already full, so we found camping isola in gudo on the internet. The campsite was just perfect, great pitches, good sanitary facilities, beautiful, clean and large pool.... Pizzeria with very good pizzas, very friendly camping staff. With the car you are in 10 minutes at the lake, in 20 minutes in the verzasca valley, in 30min. In the maggia valley, simply super:-)Automatisk oversat.
