The sanitary building is brilliantly clean, the brownies clean every night ? - and after a sweaty day of skiing the shower is super hot and clean. The only thing we will do next time is take a doormat with us for the base of the pitch so that we don't... permanently drag dirt into the motorhome. The "noise" of the BKW mentioned by the "previous reviewers" is a low hum that gently sings you to sleep. Not worth mentioning! You wake up with the first rays of sunshine and can take the first gondola straight up the mountain. If it's cloudy, you can turn around and leave later, or have a leisurely day in the camper van. This 24 hour continuous sound is annoying, especially at night. I also don't understand why nobody writes this in the reviews.....I drive to the mountains so that I can have my peace and quiet and then there's continuous sound. There are probably a lot... of city dwellers on the road who are used to the constant sound. If someone complains about hygiene, then it can only be about the drinking water hose next to the toilet sink. I don't find that acceptable either, so I use my own hose and the toilets and showers are great. Footprints are not unhygienic, the campers take... care of the dirt themselves and could remove it, as the equipment is available. We have felt at home in Kurzras for 30 years and consider this place to be an absolute enrichment. The luxury of nature, snow, skiing and leisure activities of all kinds, combined with the comfort of a pitch at an altitude of 2000m, rightly costs its price. The reason why normal cars have been parked in the square at the weekend in recent weeks is that we are the only ski area in South Tyrol with sufficient snow. The parking lot was only opened at short notice to allow all skiers and especially ski tourers to park.

It is definitely located in a strategic and convenient place but I will definitely not go back next year. Last year we barely managed to get in since it was completely snowed in. Water... drainage area either nonexistent or submerged in snow. After a day of skiing in the cold also having the wonderful surprise of finding the bathrooms cold with frozen water. All this for the modest sum of €24 per day. We stayed this weekend arrived Friday at 10 p.m. and left Sunday at 6 p.m. Paid 56€ not sure why.Αυτόματη μετάφραση.

Price-performance ratio is not right in comparison with many pitches in Germany, France and other countries.Nice place - but too expensiveWe spent the night there from September 14 to 15, 2014. All conditions are actually good. The payment machine was broken and we had to pay at the valley station of the glacier cable car. A price per night for in the season for 28 € and now for 24 € per night I think is exorbitant. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. Unfortunately, the pitch is not asphalted. Our motorhome was standing in the mud. Everything was correspondingly dirty ... What a shame! Thank you very much for your positive review. On the subject of the pitch surface: We have deliberately decided not to asphalt this pitch in the middle of the mountains. Normally, the gravel surface dries quickly after rainfall due to the sunny location of the pitch. This winter we... had extreme amounts of snow in Val Senales - over 6 meters of fresh snow in total. Unfortunately, you caught exactly the three days for your vacation when it got extremely warm very quickly, so that the still frozen ground needed some time to drain the enormous amounts of water. We hope that you will have better luck on your next visit. It would be necessary to indicate with a sign which is the entrance of the rest area and which is the entrance of the thermal power plant above the river otherwise with the dirty road you just lose time. To get to the ski slopes and the" center " you have to go up a flight of stairs that unfortunately looks like a slide of snow and ice, you can not even distinguish which are the steps, you would have to arm yourself with a pickaxe to be able to make them. One question: but is the water drain and water load submerged by snow like the stairs???? Because we didn't find it( I took several photos but they can't be posted). If necessary, there are hourly buses to the valley. The handling is uncomplicated, there is a small grocery store and there are also restaurants. - Rolf S.January 2013Great location, good snow conditions due to the altitude, sometimes it was very slippery on the pitch, especially on the stairs (a little grit works wonders), unfortunately it is to be criticized that many dog owners forget to clear away the "poops" of their pets or camouflage them with snow, every post... is marked yellow, many dogs run free and at 8.30 a.m. at the latest you are woken up by barking. I am also a dog owner but a little consideration would be appropriate. This is not a criticism of the site, just a reminder to dog owners.
