"... always beautiful... - . we had another wonderful week on this great place... Weather. location. View... peace and quiet... cleanliness... Friendliness... very well-kept...everything lovingly prepared, especially for children....everything just fits.....we are already looking forward to our next visit and say thank you for this beautiful spot !!!

"Beautiful location but not always quiet - We spent a week here with our caravan during the Whitsun vacation in 2023. The location is very nice and still conveniently located. The sanitary facilities were modern, but a little too small for full occupancy and could be cleaned a little more often, especially at weekends. Showers cost 50 ct for 5 min (50 ct pieces), which is reasonable. The place is mostly quiet, but during the week you can sometimes hear the nearby road (trucks). Very annoying was the permanent radio sound in the washrooms, even at night. Who needs that? We were a bit annoyed that we had to pay 50% of the price for the reservation and then should have transferred the rest shortly before arrival (we ignored this). On arrival we then had to pay the balance immediately. We have never experienced anything like this at any other campsite. In between, the lawn was mowed unnecessarily and our camping chairs and table were simply put aside without asking while we were away. Not the nicest thing to do either. Conclusion: The CP has a nice location, apparently you don't need to go to much trouble. I would only recommend it for a short stay in the low season due to the disadvantages described. The overall good ratings are only partially justified or understandable. The problem, however, is the limited choice of (good) campsites in the Vulkaneifel.

"beautiful campsite - Location of the CP is optimal, high up and great view. The campsite is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are absolutely top. Very friendly ladies at the registration desk who also give you very good tips. Mini golf course available, but unfortunately getting on in years. We stayed there for two nights and can highly recommend it. Unfortunately no bread delivery service, but the nearest bakery is a 10-minute walk away and is even open on Sundays. Unfortunately no restaurant on site, but plenty of choice of restaurants in the town. We have saved this campsite as a favorite and will definitely come back again.

"Small campsite with a beautiful view - surrounded by the bungalow park - We liked the place overall, even if it was quite busy over the holidays. The hiking opportunities in the surrounding area (to Gerolstein, through the Gerolstein Dolomites, to Kasselburg Castle) are particularly nice. The individual pitches on the camping meadow are well laid out and the sanitary building is in very good condition. The small playground and mini golf course are a nice change for children. Despite the Corona restrictions, we were able to spend a nice weekend in the Volcanic Eifel.

"Nice, small campsite - I'm actually surprised that there aren't more reviews for this campsite. It's a nice, small (20 pitches!) campsite in a beautiful location above Gerolstein. It is part of a vacation park with many bungalows. It offers playgrounds, petting zoo, children's pool, mini golf, sports field, tennis. Shopping facilities in Gerolstein approx. 2 km away. The sanitary building is relatively new, was always clean and offers everything you need. You can start hiking tours (e.g. Eifelsteig) directly from the CP. The Kyll cycle path runs through Gerolstein for beautiful cycle tours. A great place, also for families. Beautiful large pitches that are open to the front.

"A long weekend - A small CP. With a special flair, fantastic location with a great view. There is a small restaurant on site. Everything else can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.

Der kleine Campingplatz auf unserem Felsenhof-Gelände besticht mit besonderem Ambiente mitten im Grünen. Er liegt direkt am Premium-Wanderweg „Eifelsteig“. Ob Sie allein, zu zweit, mit der ganzen Familie oder als Gruppe anreisen – unsere weitläufigen Stellplätze und die neuen Sanitäranlagen …werden Sie sicher begeistern. Bezahlbarer Urlaub mit nahezu unbegrenzten Freizeit-Möglichkeiten. Im Park oder der Umgebung. Lassen Sie sich inspirieren. Die ANWB (Königliche Niederländische Touring Club) hat unseren Campingplatz mit 4-Sternen ausgezeichnet. Nicht nur das moderne Sanitärgebäude und die geräumigen Campingplätze waren Gründe für die gute Bewertung, sondern auch die Lage in der Vulkaneifel mit der schönen Aussicht über Gerolstein und das Kylltal. Das neue moderne Sanitärhaus mit Duschen und WCs wurde im Frühjahr 2016 fertigstellt. Auch auf dem Campingplatz können Sie unser WLAN nutzen. Nutzen Sie außerdem unsere vielen Freizeit-Möglichkeiten, wie Bar, Minigolf, Spiel- & Sportplätze oder Streichelzoo. Der Bungalowpark & Campingplatz Felsenhof ist ein seit Jahrzehnten geführter Familienbetrieb. Das Urlaubsgefühl unserer Gäste liegt uns sehr am Herzen. Darum werden wir unser Möglichstes tun um Ihren Urlaub zu einem Erfolg zu machen
