"Uncomplicated place with lots of greenery - On arrival, you can choose a pitch yourself and the owners come directly to the campers in the evening. Very relaxed, but it can also get very crowded.

"Total overbooked - The place has a great location. But the owner is friendly but the place is totally overbooked. On June 3rd, Ascension Day, no one was allowed in. I wanted to spend a quiet vacation. I could no longer walk around my tent. The toilets, 2 pieces are far too few with the overbooking. I left prematurely disappointed. Never again

"Beautiful, simple "forest camping" - We stayed here for two nights with the aim of hiking. Ideally located, various hiking possibilities from the campsite or a little easier to reach by bike. Uncomplicated and very friendly operator. Various plot sizes, freely selectable, with plenty of natural shade. Highly recommended!

"Very beautiful natural campsite - Very nice campsite. The management comes to each pitch every evening and asks if everything is OK, if you have any requests or need bread rolls. You can make a campfire on the pitch and wood can also be delivered to the pitch for €3. It's also nice that there are no rules and no pitches and that everyone sticks to the unwritten rules so that you feel really comfortable. The campsite is not floodlit, which we really like, because then you don't have spotlights shining into your tent or caravan. And if you don't have a flashlight with you when camping, it's your own fault. A campsite without frills, well managed and with attention to the things that are important. It certainly wasn't the last time we were there.

""Exceptional" - We spent two weeks at this "unusual" campsite. It was unusual for us because there are no campsite rules, prohibition and mandatory signs and yet everything was regulated, quiet, clean, etc. Mrs. Fürst prefers personal contact with the guests on her evening rounds, otherwise the guests manage well on their own. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and exploring glassworks. We liked it very much!!!!

Der Frauenauer Campingplatz mit dem schicken Namen "Green Village" wurde im Jahr 2000 fertiggestellt und ist von Mai bis Oktober in Betrieb. Die ein Hektar große Fläche bietet Platz für 35 Touristen-Stellplätze. Daneben ist ein Zeltplatz mit Feuerstelle vorhanden. Im …Sanitärbereich befinden sich vier Waschbecken, sechs Duschen und 5 WCs sowie eine Entsorgungsmöglichkeit für Chemietoiletten. Ebenso stehen den Gästen eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner zur Verfügung. Selbstversorger können zudem eine Küche und ein Spülbecken nutzen. Morgens sorgt der Brötchenservice für einen guten Start in den Tag. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit beziehungsweise einen Imbiss finden Urlauber dagegen in etwa drei Kilometer Entfernung, während eine Gaststätte nach nur etwa fünf Gehminuten erreicht ist. Was die Urlaubsgestaltung anbelangt, so bietet die Ferienregion Bayerischer Wald unzählige attraktive Ausflugsziele. In der näheren Umgebung haben Familien zum Beispiel viel Spaß auf der Minigolf- oder Sommerrodelbahn beziehungsweise im Freibad. Aktivurlauber zieht es aber auch zu den nur wenige Kilometer entfernten Tennisplätzen und -hallen oder auf den Golfplatz.
