"Once and never again! - We booked a premium pitch with private bathroom for three nights in August 2024. Basically, the campsite is scenic and centrally located. From my point of view, however, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The pitch, we had no. 40, was too small for a caravan (7.5 m). As a result, we stood with the awning facing the main path and had to walk around our caravan to get into the bathroom. Directly opposite the pitch is a relatively large transformer house. On the one hand, it obscures the view of the mountain panorama and on the other, it robbed us of two nights' sleep. The transformer hums and buzzes 24 hours a day. You could even hear the noise through the closed windows of the caravan. This was the main reason why we left the day before. On the day of arrival we had asked for a different pitch, but this request could not or would not be granted. Directly diagonally opposite the pitch, the stadium floodlight of the campsite is switched on at dusk, a much too bright lantern with very cold light. This lantern does not allow for any coziness in front of the caravan, watching the stars and Perseids and the evening mountain panorama, no way! It was not only for these reasons that the pitch did not deserve the Premium classification. There is no waste water connection for the caravan and no direct flushing facilities on the pitch. The mold stains in the bathroom round off the negative impression. Further negative points: In my opinion, contrary to the statement on the website, dogs are not really welcome. There is only a short dog-walking path to a small meadow on the Loisach or to the Kneipp pool. This path is fenced in, very narrow and peppered with numerous prohibition signs, very unpleasant! There is no direct access behind the campsite to the Hammersbach footpath or to the Kreuzeckbahn cable car, for example
