"Rome and the surrounding area on four days in October - A large camping and mobile home site in the shade of huge cedar pines, with the Via Cristofero Colombo running past, which has both advantages and disadvantages, We didn't have a wake-up service with hymns, although a school trip with several hundred pupils was on site at the same time. Must have been due to the European Championships at the last commentary. The pupils enlivened rather than disrupted the experience. Compliments to the organizers. The sanitary facilities were ok. Always hot water, paper and hand-washing soap.

"Large place with beautiful pools - Our arrival was not ideal. Next to the pitch assigned to us was a gigaliner that was still using part of our pitch, so that we couldn't stand properly despite removing the bike rack. I think the groundsmen should pay attention to something like this. When we complained, we could have moved to another pitch, but it was so narrow that we couldn't get out on both sides. The next day the neighbor left and we were able to move into the pitch properly. The wash house is equipped with sufficient showers and toilets, but most of the showers lack a shelf for shampoo etc. (torn off). (torn off). There are also only 2 hooks and nothing to put your bag on, for example. The washbasins are covered in black mosquitoes in the evening, which is really disgusting. As you can apparently stay on the pitch until midnight, it is always quite restless and noisy. At 8 a.m. the square is filled with the Italian national anthem, but perhaps only because of the European Championships? You can reach the old town in 20 minutes by bike. The route along the Arno is very beautiful.

"Great for visitors to Rome by bus and metro, spacious pool area - Pitches are located near the restaurant, supermarket and reception. Sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Ideal as a starting point for a visit to Rome, there is a free shuttle bus service from the campsite to the metro. Travel time to Rome Collosseum approx. 50 minutes. To relax on the CP there is a really spacious pool area incl. a swimming pool.

"Schöner Campingplatz, ideal für Sightseeing in Rom - Wir waren August/September 2017 dort in einem Happy Camp-Mobile Home. Der Platz hat uns sehr gut gefallen und war auch relativ ruhig. Man ist dank des Shuttle-Services des Platzes mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell in Rom. Alternativ kann man mit dem eigenen Auto zu einer nahegelegenen U-Bahn-Station fahren. Einziges Manko ist der Pool, der mangels Größe recht voll ist. Sonst aber sehr zu empfehlen.

"Excellent Campsite to visit Rome. Spacious pitches for Camper and tent. - When staying longer than 1 week with older children, options at the campground are limited. Limited opportunities for sports. (Except running and swimming)

Fabulous Village is situated in a Mediterranean area of about 30 hectares and delightfully shaded by mighty, aged pine trees. Our holiday village has a strategic position that permits you to reach the centre of Rome in a short and …easy way. The sea locality of Ostia is 9 km away and the ancient ruins and castle of Ostia Antica at only 8 km. It’s possible to make use of a frequent bus and metro service. We also organize tours directly from our campsite to Rome and Pompei & Naples. Facilities on site: restaurant, bar, pizzeria, take away, market, washing machines & dryers, Info-point for organized tours, tennis-, football-, beach volleyball courts, games room and a big water park. We offer different kind of accommodations: • Bungalow: consist of a bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 high sleeper, a fridge and a private bathroom. Air conditioning and heating available. • Mobile homes: with 2/3 bedrooms, a living room with an equipped cooking area, air conditioning and heating available, private bathroom • Pitches: with shadow, are spacious and have water and electricity connections.
