"never again - We have now completed our tour of Europe with the camper van. We experienced a lot. We will write our opinion about every campground we have been to on its forum. Our trip started at the beautiful Rhine in Bingen "Hintenburgbrücke". We had already read a lot about the Hintenburgbrücke campsite on the Internet and wanted to form our own opinion. So at the beginning of June we went to the campsite near the farmer in Bingen and were surprised at the arbitrariness of the groundsman. First of all, we were led onto the site or shown around so that we thought we were in the German army. We then followed the groundsman very well, and my husband had to park exactly to the centimeter, so he had to drive back and forth several times, he felt like he was in a US training camp. Unfortunately, there are no marked parking spaces with a number. The sound makes the music, and it was loud and authoritative. There was no vacation atmosphere. It also depends on whether you like him or not, in my opinion. The groundsman acts arbitrarily, which a normal person wouldn't understand. It's better not to have experienced it. Judging by his dialect, he probably comes from the former GDR, which explains a lot. He gets an unsatisfactory grade for his treatment of us. Then there are probably some permanent campers on the meadow. We were almost at the end of the pitch in the second row. We quickly noticed an older lady with her little barker. Of course dogs bark sometimes, but from early in the morning until late in the evening, a constant barking, that was borderline. The lady sits like a Buddha in her own juice all day long, even at 35 degrees in front of her time and watches or watches over everything, lets her dog run around everywhere, although dogs should be on a leash, but then complains about other campers who also let their dog run around because they are just building up. At least newcomers are immediately told that they have to keep their dog on a lead. Again, your dog runs around freely all day. We still remember the calls of the lady, come here, come here at last, otherwise I'll put you on a lead, come here at last, from morning till night, including the barking of this barker. We imagine relaxation on a campsite to be different. Also, there is probably no real midday rest, cars and motorhomes drive off or onto the site even at midday. There are currently no women's toilets or showers as they are being renovated. There is a dirty shower/toilet container in front of the toilet block as an alternative, or the women go to the men's showers, which was okay as these have already been renovated. The food is okay, the location of the campsite is nice, right by the water. There are lots of things to do from there. Our conclusion, we cannot recommend this place because of the arbitrary bib and braces groundskeeper and also this somewhat out of shape Buddhaoma, or "Else Kling", and will not come again.
