"Emergency place for one night - Very, very UNFRIENDLY and PAMPIG.outdated registration, because not even PC available. Not a pure naturist place, because everyone goes as he wants. Narrow entrance O shopping facilities, only ice cream from the chest available when the reception is occupied. WC and shower outdated, but you can use the same Due to the fact that you are very soggy, I will avoid the place and pass this information on to my camper friends

"Best place in Germany for us - In contrast to all the critics, I have to disagree here. We have been back here every year for our summer vacation for 20 years and have always been warmly welcomed and treated. There are no bread rolls or newspapers here, but that doesn't bother us because we can get them at the textile camp next door. Ice cream and drinks are available here. We'd rather have a clean toilet block without dirty paper than the other way around, because we can adjust to that. The location of the campsite, the proximity to the lake, the friendliness of the people, romantic sunsets - that's what it means to us to be the best in Germany

"if you are looking for peace and quiet and don't need to buy food-ok - Very quiet, so really quiet. Place lighting at night not available. NO shopping facilities. Acceptable as a starting point and destination for kayak trips

"do not confuse!!! - The reviews posted here seem to refer to the Hirschberg campsite. The CP Nitschow is a different one, same operator but different location. Just google it!

"disappointing - We have been camping for 40 years, traveling by bike, foot or kayak - and have rarely been as disappointed with a campsite as we were with this one. The first thing that happened to us was the faux pas of entering the site from the wrong side. The unthinkable happened: I didn't recognize a 5 cm high box hedge and was shouted at from a distance of about 30 m. I could see that it was private property and was then asked to leave the site in a very unfriendly manner as quickly as possible. The gentlemen wanted to continue to watch others live undisturbed through binoculars. Unfortunately, my partner had paid in the meantime, so we stayed. The pitch was one of the more expensive ones, but didn't offer much apart from peace and quiet. It wasn't possible to buy a newspaper or bread rolls. There wasn't even enough for toilet paper. The beach is small but ok, it's better not to go on the rest of the site as you don't know what's private. The site management wasn't unfriendly, but I think in this day and age you just need a bit more. But on this campsite you probably want to keep to yourself.

"Short vacation in Hirschberg - We were very warmly welcomed by the place manager (Mrs. Christiane Jakobs), received very important information for us, felt very comfortable as guests and will definitely spend relaxing days there again
