"A really quiet place to relax - It was a very nice stay on the CP! The staff were very friendly at all times and the restaurant serves very tasty and reasonably priced food except on Mon/Tues! The lake is also great for swimming after initially overcoming the brown coloration. There is also plenty of play equipment for children on the site. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back again

"Super campsite - It's simply a great campsite where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The site is very clean and well maintained. The operators are very friendly. The restaurant on the site is characterized by good food and friendly staff. We have already been to the campsite twice and will definitely be back.

"Beautiful campsite - Beautiful campsite in the Thuringian Forest, about 40 minutes by car from Erfurt. We were there for the weekend in February. At least very quiet at this time of year. Sanitary facilities clean, warm and well maintained. Beautiful pitches. Even if we arrived late, we were able to get to our pitch by prior arrangement. We were also able to leave in the evening at no extra cost.

"Nice place Nice operator. - A beautifully situated campsite with lots of peace and quiet in the middle of nature. The social buildings are top and clean, the staff really nice and very helpful. For the children there are Kettcars to borrow, there are some really cool things. We would love to come back.

"Very quiet and beautifully situated - Really beautiful site with lots of lawns. Located in the middle of the forest, extremely quiet. Some nice hikes are possible directly from the campsite. Great mountain bike terrain. Many excursion possibilities. Friendly staff. Small restaurant with the essentials and nice barbecues at the weekend. Toilets and showers are clean. We were a bit annoyed that the campers were placed so close together on the large meadow, although there was enough space. The small natural pool was also great for cooling off on hot days.

Its idyllic location at the foot of the Rennsteig trail allows it to be an attraction …point for nature and camping friends from near and far all year round. The surrounding forests, the swimming pond and countless other easily accessible excursion destinations in the legendary Thuringian countryside are particularly attractive. If you don’t want to arrive with a tent or a caravan, you can also enjoy the proximity to nature in our holiday homes. Our camping site is open all year round!
