"Absolute peace and quiet, 1000 meters from the Bristol Channel - Small site with about 30 very spacious pitches. We received a very warm welcome and were allocated a pitch. The ground consists of dense, well-kept grass. Showers cost 50 pence and WLAN is free, but unfortunately only available on the upper part of the site. Fire bowls can be hired for barbecuing (see photo price list). I have awarded 4 stars for the sanitary facilities, but there is no possibility of emptying a chemical toilet. From the site you can walk a rewarding path to the coast (approx. 1000m). There are 2 locked gates with steps at the side to cross. For dog owners, this means that the dog has to be lifted over the first gate. At the 2nd gate, a loophole leads around the gate. At high tide, the bank consists of large pebbles and is not suitable for walking. At low tide, however, it is said to be good for walking. There is a restaurant "Teddy's Bar" on the campsite (see photos for price list). The breakfast in the restaurant, with 7 types of coffee to choose from, is highly recommended. (Photo "Teddy's Big Breakfast") We paid 29 pounds for a camper van with 2 people, 2 dogs and electricity in mid-May. ......... According to the site rules, "motorhomes" are not allowed???
