"Space in a prime location - I think we booked the best pitch (548) there. The lake behind us, Eckernförde Bay to the front, only one row of pitches, not far to the sanitary facilities and totally quiet overall. However, we also had to dig into our wallets. 86 € for 2 nights. That's what we chose, although I question why the price does NOT include WiFi and electricity is charged at a flat rate of €5. Extrapolated over the year, we pay a little more than half in our house. We also knew this in advance and I wouldn't have had to book. But unfortunately it was too tempting with the water all around and it was well worth it. Deductions for the sanitary facilities, which were fine so far, but the ceiling area was heavily decorated with cobwebs and small animals. There is no need to understand why the toilets/showers in the house are cleaned at the best time (from 8 am). They could be a little more modern. There is an indoor and outdoor children's playground. The supermarket is not very big, but you can get everything you need.

"Vacation 2022 - We stayed at the Karlsminde campsite from 09.07.2022 - 23.07.2022. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Wilke and we were able to occupy the reserved pitch at 11:00 am. We were already at the campsite in 2014 and cleanliness is very important here. The camping guests are very nice and there is a feeling of togetherness. Conclusion: A great vacation, thank you very much. MfG Kaspar

"best dogs CP - The nature all around, designated forest/hiking/walking trails, the dog meadow is nice and big and has a bathing lake for our pets, poop bags were everywhere and there were lots of garbage cans for them. Our furry friend particularly liked the dog beach. And despite the really large number of dogs, it was remarkably quiet (well, exceptions prove the rule) - thank goodness we didn't have to put up with this barking for long - some dog parents should go to dog school again. The snack bar on the campsite has super tasty chips but also other delicious things. I ate my most expensive but also most delicious fries in the Karlminde restaurant on the campsite - homemade fries sprinkled with truffles and real parmesan, served with truffle mayonnaise. My family's other dishes also looked and tasted very, very good - fried potatoes like grandma used to make! . The sanitary facilities were clean, even in the late afternoon. The disabled toilet/wash/shower rooms were big enough for rollators or wheelchairs.

"Quiet location on the Baltic Sea - Uncomplicated arrival, pitch was known, set up on arrival and a quick visit to reception the next day. The weather didn't invite us to use the beach, but it was a good starting point for bike tours. Sanitary older, but clean and everything works. Snack bar not tested. Site relatively flat, gravel paths.

"Good CP - Beautiful site, very quiet. The pitches are large enough. The sanitary facilities at the reception are well stocked and the showers are pleasantly large. There is a good shopping opportunity on site, newspapers, bread rolls etc., there is a good selection for a small purchase at the CP. Eckernförde is only 9 km away by bike, but you can also go on other beautiful tours in the surrounding area. The beach is very long, even in the season you have enough distance to the neighbors.

"A nice vacation is different - The place would be a goldmine, but unfortunately the owners don't have their eyes open. Take a look at the pitches to your right and left. And then your cold, loveless wash houses! They are only clean at 11:00 in the morning! Invest in the wash houses, but do it properly and use fewer permanent cleaners, they are already blind to the operation. Then your place will be a bomb! The same goes for the restaurant, the food is fantastic, the furnishings are from the 50s. Wake up!
