"Unfriendly staff - My mother, my husband and I wanted to visit my family at the campsite this afternoon. Even before we reached the barrier, we were unkindly whistled back by an older, blonde, corpulent lady with glasses. We were not allowed to enter the site. I was told to contact my cousin by cell phone and ask her to come to the barrier. But I didn't have a cell phone with me. I told the lady this. At first she wasn't interested at all. Then she told me to go on my own and see if my family were at their camper, but only on foot. I heard an unfriendly sentence: "The bike stays outside in front of the barrier", just like my mother and my husband. I then went to the camper alone. But my cousin wasn't there yet. So I walked back again and was looked at stupidly again. I've been a camper myself for years and have visited many places, but I've never experienced anything so unfriendly! What happens if someone is interested in a pitch? Are they then not allowed to enter the site? I would NEVER want to go on vacation there. The owner should think about that. Staff like that are counterproductive.

"Weekend vacation - We were there once, but not again. The highway noise can be heard very close to the campsite.

"Ladbergen - The pitch by the lake was reminiscent of a fenced-in sports field and the fellow campers were very loud. Music until 3am, reception not available.

"Disaster - 1. music too loud until late at night 2. often no soap in the men's room 3. toilet paper often missing 4. toilet lid torn off and lying next to it 5. floor in the toilets totally filthy 6. gray water - asked four people and the last one says: "Do you like to use the sink for the chemical toilet" - does he know what gray water is? When I explain: no, we don't have anything for that.... 7. twice only one toilet had paper, so several men left the place swearing That was really really bad...
