"Fantastic location - Checking in was easy online, and the problem that we didn't have 50 SKr coins for the shower was quickly solved by phone. The site is a gem. Beautifully situated in the forest right by the lake, with no shopping facilities, entertainment or restaurants, it's perfect for nature lovers. We would love to come back, it is on our list of the most beautiful places.

"Tobbe - Would have been good, but was disappointed with unnecessary expenses. Shower costs 5 kr 4 min. Poor far to service house.. O facilities ... 320 kr day with electricity. Way too much...

"A great stay in Strömsnäs - A beautiful, quiet campsite in a great location on Lake Viken. Stayed here with several families in summer 2019. Very spacious pitches for caravans/mobile homes. Motorboat rental. Canoe hire. Rental of boat moorings. Even when the campsite was fully booked, we didn't have the feeling that it was overcrowded or similar. There are a certain number of pitches. And this was not exceeded. Always had a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The operators are absolutely helpful and nice. There are great barbecue areas on the waterfront a short distance away, where you can spend lovely evenings and enjoy the sunset. Had a great time with our friends and children. We also caught some fish. Several pike, perch and asp. Shopping facilities in Karlsborg and Forsvik. 30 minutes away In Töreboda, be sure to visit "Mandys Diner". In the nearby Tiveden National Park you can go hiking and canoeing.

"Quaint and quiet natural campsite - We came across this place out of curiosity. Super quiet location, right on a beautiful lake. Well, it's a bit further to the shops, but you can walk to Forsvik in 20 minutes or cycle there in 5 - 10 minutes. Of course, you can't expect super sanitary facilities on a nature campsite, but what is there is functional and clean. The operators are very friendly and we felt well looked after and comfortable there. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Sweden.

"Absolute tranquillity in great nature with lots of space - Pure nature camping. Quaint with lots of nature and forest on the lake along the Göta Canal. For swimming with jetty bathing facility and also with barbecue area directly on the lake. Plenty of space with lots of trees providing shade and friendly hosts. Playground for children. Good for cycling. Nice village Forsvik with lock system Göta Canal.

"Quiet camp near Tiveden National Park - Camp right by the idyllic bathing lake - away from the hustle and bustle, shopping in nearby Karlsborg, hiking in the Tiveden National Park, well suited as a resting place for onward travel in all directions.

Welcome to Strömsnäs Naturcamping Strömsnäs Nature Camping is nicely situated by the shore of Lake Viken, just outside Forsvik. We have 60 sites, most are with electricity. Here you can camp with a caravan, tent or mobile home in a …natural setting with woods around the corner. The campsite has two modern service buildings with WC / shower, cooking facilities, and wireless internet. There are two nice jogging trails in the woods that invites lovely walks or a run. We are three families from Skövde who run this campsite and we hope that many campers find their way here and we will do everything to make you enjoy your stay and feel welcome.
