"Insect venom - Very large, expensive site with lots of permanent campers. The only nice thing was our pitch. It was large and had some trees. We didn't like the beach and the sea at all. Not inviting for swimming. The surrounding villages are somewhat neglected and deserted. The area has obviously seen its best days. I found it really bad that insect repellent was sprayed at night. I thought those days were over.

"We won't be back - We've been to the campsite with the caravan and our children before and we've always really enjoyed it. After several years, the two of us came back with a mobile home and were horrified and disappointed. Almost all the former pitches have been paved over with mobile homes. The remaining pitches are anything but nice and further away from the beach. The sanitary facilities are outdated, unkempt and not or rarely cleaned. As a camper, you no longer feel welcome here. Both the staff at reception and in the supermarket are unfriendly. A new "payment system" has been introduced. You can only pay with a wristband or credit card. The system just doesn't work. We were told twice that there was no more money on the wristband and we had to prove the opposite. We will certainly not be coming back! I would also like to mention that in Corona times no proof of vaccination or negative test was required or checked.

"Where campers are no longer wanted - I stayed at the campsite with a caravan from 10.07 to 28.07.2019. I have the following points to criticize: The pitches for caravans and tents have been greatly reduced and replaced by containers. As each container has an umbrella and two sun loungers included, almost the entire beach is paved with umbrellas, only a small part is still accessible for "free use" for campers with their own tent, motorhome or caravan. By merging the waste collection points to a total of only 4 for the entire campsite, there are sometimes very long distances and a very high frequency at these points. Pitches and caravan containers in the vicinity are always noisy (squeaking and rattling garbage lids, glass thrown in at any time of day or night). As there are no longer any garbage containers at the hotel or restaurant on the site, the staff have to transport the garbage across the site, which takes place late at night or very early in the morning and of course not without noise... The night's rest is generally generously ignored, cars are also driven in at 3 o'clock in the morning. Dogs are allowed on the entire site, so they are walked everywhere. If there is an instruction to dog owners to only do this in certain places, this is successfully ignored. Although every dog owner has their bags with them, a lot gets stuck in the grass. Yapping around the clock is included on the entire site. So if you don't book the expensive container option but want to come with your own camping equipment, you are a second-class camper here, with only a limited choice of pitches and crammed onto a far too small area on the beach with a long way to go.

"Excellent and quiet - Co we stayed several times in 4 with two boys 12 and 14, von dog. We had a good time. The sea is nearby clean and organized. Restaurants very good fish. Well organized. But few activities.

"ALL TOP - We have already been here 6 times. Everything was always great. Small fine campsite with a great location. Staff very friendly very clean all around a great family vacation always gladly again. super price-performance ratio

"Only a fair-weather pitch - After rainfall, it stinks of faeces from the sewage system across the campsite. This is extremely unpleasant, especially at night when you can't avoid it. The site and location would be nice in itself and the pitches very spacious. We booked a mobile home from "Homair" Villa 4/6 without air conditioning through Neckermann Reisen/Thomas Cook. Not very clean, terrace full of cobwebs, no fly screens or curtains, partly torn curtains, soiled corner bench cushions, hot water in kitchen and drain in shower worked very badly, the 2 ladies from Homair very listless. The escort to the caravan was a matter of luck - we have seen people wandering around looking for their caravan. We got the worst pitch in the back corner near about 15 garbage containers and the dog playground/toilet. The mobile homes from "Albatross Reisen" are also there. Employees regularly disposed of their empty bottles and garbage there around midnight (lid open, lid closed - whoosh...). Otherwise, everything was wonderful and the sea was great for swimming.

Vigna sul Mar Family Camping Village is a large campsite just outside Lido di Pomposa, about 80 kilometres south of Venice. You'll be camping by the sea in a tourist region with many campsites in a row. Nature lovers are …in luck, because 20 kilometres north of the campsite lies the beautiful Po Delta Nature Park. Here on the Adriatic coast, you can camp within walking distance of a private beach by the sea, one of the many advantages of the campsite. The 13-hectare site is full of trees, so the pitches (70-80m²) are in the shade. There are 600 of them! There are also hundreds of bungalow tents and mobile homes. There is direct access to a lovely, wide sandy beach from the campsite. There are a few beach showers. Work on your tan on the beach and take the occasional dip in the sea. Don't fancy swimming in seawater? There are also two swimming pools at the campsite. At Vigna sul Mar Family Camping Village, there is a professional entertainment team for young and old. There is even a mini-club where the youngest campers can go four times a week. Do you want to keep fit while on holiday? No problem! Challenge your camping neighbours to a game of table tennis, boules or beach volleyball. This large campsite has everything you need for a relaxing camping holiday. You can eat at the restaurant, order a pizza to take away or have a drink at the bar. You can find everything you need for cooking at the supermarket.
