Very friendly operator, good location, restaurant with sea view, great bathing bay, which is however accessible via the road and a short path. Very close to nature.
Negatiivsed
Sanitary facilities are very outdated, showers so narrow that it is best to leave the shower to get dressed. Steep terrain in places.
Beautiful location, great bay
Were there for 1 night in June 2023, when it was still very quiet and not very busy. Nice place, if the sanitary would be renewed, it would be great.

Update 2015: Visit to the square in mid-September. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed. The restaurant on the beach was a good alternative. Baguettes were still available 150m further along the road. Beach utensils of all kinds were also sold there. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in... the sanitary facilities since my first visit in 2001. It doesn't always have to be the non plus ultra. But a little more cleanliness would be desirable. I saw that things can be done differently at U Sognu in Corte. The beach and the water were great. There is a nice bar at the other end of the beach. It was still quite full at the weekend. I've been to CP Le Sud 3 times so far. I think the beach is great. However, there are indeed other beautiful sandy bays to the south and north. But you need a vehicle to get there. The campsite has beautiful, mainly shady terraces and unfortunately rather run-down sanitary facilities, which are unlikely to be able to cope with the crowds at the height of summer. At least that wasn't a problem at the beginning of June. The site was still pretty empty. There are some mobile homes in the front area facing the road with a sea view. Only a few pitches have a sea view. We were lucky in the rear area of the campsite. We were able to spread out properly there. Hardly possible in high season. The restaurant has a great view and the pizzas are really good. Also affordable. Bakery on the road 150m to the left. Supermarket only in Porticcio. Good location for excursions to Ajaccio (from Porticcio by boat!), to the Iles Sanguinaires or to the Prunelli Gorge. Recommended in the early and late season despite the shortcomings of the sanitary facilities.

Nice place with small flaws
We spent two nights on this campsite in July 2014 to explore Ajaccio and the surrounding area. We received a warm welcome at reception and were made aware of the youth groups staying at the back of the site. The pitches are terraced on the mountainside and vary greatly in size. The car had to be parked... separately at the side of the road. We had plenty of shade from the tall trees, but the holes for the pegs had to be pre-drilled with a hand drill. The somewhat older sanitary facilities without gender segregation are in poor condition (broken showers and doors, blind mirrors). On a positive note, there is a great panoramic restaurant with a beautiful view of the coast with a tower at sunset, very nice service and delicious pizza despite the high occupancy rate. There is a store right at the entrance to the campsite where you can stock up on essentials, otherwise there are no restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity. The coarse pebble beach is about 100 meters from the campsite and is not cleaned regularly. Overall, a good place to explore Ajaccio and the surrounding area.
