As a camper owner, I appreciate several things here: spacious, paved and level sites with full connections (electricity, water). The grounds are well landscaped and the staff is friendly and professional. The lack of a small store on site compensates for the presence of a large market 2 minutes away by car. Sanitary facilities (toilets, showers) are cleaned several times a day and kept in perfect order, even during the peak season. The main asset is a huge, modern and safe playground, which provides children with an hour of fun. Camping "Under the Birches" has the atmosphere that you feel at home there. We became close to our neighbors, we barbecued together in the evenings. We stocked up at the nearby vegetable shop and bakery - everything at our fingertips. For those planning... a longer stay, there is access to a washing machine (extra charge), which is a huge convenience. This is not an anonymous parking lot, this is a place where a small vacation community is formed. "Under the Birches" is the perfect place for such a debut! The staff was very patient, they explained everything, and the atmosphere among the guests was so friendly that the older regulars were happy to advise... us "youngsters" how to pitch the tent more stably. No concrete monoliths, big aquaparks and noise. Just nature, simplicity and true relaxation. We slept in a tent, ate sandwiches and fruit, and read books by flashlight in the evening. It was... the healthiest and most enjoyable week of vacation in years. If you're looking for luxuries and animation, it's not here. During the night we were caught in a small but intense rain and it turned out that our tent was not as waterproof as we thought. The gentlemen at the front desk not only helped us rebuild under the canopy, but also lent us extra tarps. This shows... what kind of atmosphere people create. The location of the campground is fantastic - close to the sea, but also to the center of Ustron, if you feel like having an ice cream or waffles. The area is safe, fenced, and there are woods around perfect for long walks. The owners themselves and other guests are kind to pets. There was no problem attaching the dog to the tent. The proximity to the beach (also dog-friendly in the off-season) is another huge plus. Our dog fell in love with the place as much as we did. There is an unhurried, almost idyllic atmosphere here. In the evenings, bonfires are lit (in designated areas), and people just talk and enjoy relaxing. There is no loud music or party crowd, which for us is... a huge advantage. The infrastructure is simple, but very neat. For us, as a couple without children, it was a dream vacation. For relatively little money we got exactly what we needed: a safe place for the camper, access to electricity, clean toilets and hot water. The atmosphere is intimate and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.... Ustronie Morskie itself is a nice town - it has everything you need, but is not as crowded as Kolobrzeg. We went there for the second year with intention and next year, too, we will definitely return. What captivated us? First of all, the incredibly peaceful and family atmosphere. The children have their own playground, and since the area is fenced,... we were able to let them off the hook without worry. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, which is of great importance with toddlers. The beach is really close, walking about 10-15 minutes through a beautiful forest. Quiet at night guaranteed! You pay really reasonable money, and in return you get a clean, safe and beautifully located piece of nature with full sanitary facilities. There are no unnecessary amenities that elevate the price, instead there is... everything you need for good camping. For the same money elsewhere I would get a concrete yard with no shade. At the "Under the Birches" campground, our little ones ran around barefoot, built bases between the trees and organized trick-or-treating with other kids. I just want to add one very practical thing for those who go during the peak season (late July and August). We arrived without reservations on Saturday and barely managed to catch the last free spot. We saw that several other people had already left... with a receipt. So it's worth calling and reserving a spot in advance, especially if you're going with a larger camper or want to stand in a particularly attractive, shaded area.
