The short distance to the sea allowed us to enjoy the sea climate without worrying about getting there. Staying in the off-season (in our case it was the end of November) is a completely different, more intimate and comfortable dimension... of vacation - everything is available "at your fingertips", without waiting. This trip was a necessity for us to get away from the city, and it fulfilled its purpose 100%. The proximity to the sea (indeed, those 300m) allowed several visits to the beach a day to watch the rough waves. The off-season is extremely convenient - a fire pit is always available, and hiking in the surrounding woods is a pleasure without... encountering crowds. Our family stay in the first week of December was a must for spending time together away from the pre-Christmas commotion. We had a successful, week-long stay. The location is favorable - easy access, squares on varied terrain (some more sunny, some in the shade), and the beach is not far away. The infrastructure (electricity,... water, clean and warm sanitary facilities with a changing room) works flawlessly. It was an excellent choice! We owe our successful stay to several things. Cool location - the campground is located in a quieter part of Ustron, but it's not far on foot to the beach and the center. The... surrounding area is wooded, which gives the feeling of relaxation. Cool even in the low season - in September it was wonderfully quiet, perfect for relaxing with a book and long walks. The biggest perk? The cool empreys! They are passionate people, always smiling, offer advice and really care about the place and guests. Our stay at Camping under the Birches was successful in every way. The location is its big asset - far from busy roads, wrapped in trees, which gives a... pleasant shade and a sense of privacy. We especially appreciated the place in the off-season. Silence, birdsong, the opportunity to read a book by the fire - just cool. Finally, the most important thing: the empreys. These are not anonymous owners, they are hosts by vocation. They always had time for a nice conversation, advised some interesting, less obvious places in the area. The location is nice - safe, away from the main hustle and bustle, but within easy reach of all the attractions of Ustron. We also tried coming in June, off peak season, and it was nice too - more space,... quiet. The great atmosphere of the camping is largely due to the cool party - they were always willing to talk, helped organize a barbecue, and recommended the best ice cream to the kids. For many people this is too complicated, which results in frequent washing machine failures. On such a large campsite should be easy to use industrial washing machines and dryers, not household appliances :)Very good campsite. RECOMMENDTruly one of the best campsites in Europe. If only there was a swimming pool on the campsite, then nothing more holidaymakers would need for a perfect vacation.
