- klaus w.lokakuu 2023PositiivisetThe situationNegatiivisetNothingMy favorite place on the Cote d'azurThe very large campsite is located next to the small village of Saint Aygulf on one side, and on the other side there is a beautiful, super long sandy beach. I've never found anything like it on the built-up Cote d'Azur. We were there in the absolute off-season. Everything was great. The store and restaurant... were already closed, but it was possible to get supplies on foot in nearby Sant Aygulf. Well-kept complex, everything in good condition and clean. In the main season I felt it was a bit too "cramped", although the pitches are nice and big. Great base camp for exploring the region. We will definitely be backKäännetty automaattisesti.
- Jessica M.heinäkuu 2019PositiivisetLocation, central and yet quiet Nice pool Sanitary ok, but no toilet paperNegatiivisetPitches are large, but not very well separated from each other Cars can drive on the pitch all nightCamping on the Cote de Azur away from the hustle and bustleNice welcome and the request for a shady spot was honored. Nice, new pool Campingeigener beach is located on the canal, not on the Mediterranean SeaKäännetty automaattisesti.
- Manfred N.syyskuu 2018PositiivisetReally walking distance to the city Beach is part of the site Good value Quiet despite central location Oraganization impeccableNegatiivisetNo special flair, everything quite normal Not a dream beachNo frills, flawless, but nothing specialFirst of all: the price is right. The site is well maintained and not noisy. Because of the central location, the store is absolutely adequate. The beach is small, but inviting for swimming. It's ideal for small children as the water gets deeper very, very slowly. However, the beach is not a feast for... the eyes! At least the beach belongs directly to the campsite. The pitches are well-kept, neither very natural nor artificial. I can't see any real disadvantages to the site, but nothing great either. The value for money is impeccable.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Hans M.syyskuu 2017PositiivisetGood locationNegatiivisetPoor sanitary facilitiesSo so la laThe CP has 4 stars on site. That's at least two too many! The (open) sanitary facilities could also be in a jungle camp. We've got used to French standards by now, but you can't get any more minimalist than this. Location CP is otherwise good. There is a cycle path to St. Raphael.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Michael S.huhtikuu 2017PositiivisetEndless spaceNegatiivisetSlight road noise, eternal traffic chaos....Huge campsite with lots of space! We were there at the end of April 2017, early low season, paid €95 for 4 days with 3 people. Only 1 of 4 sanitary buildings open, pool was being rebuilt with some construction noise; restaurant closed, bakery and mini-market open. Free choice of pitches on the huge site, in the higher part of the site... at the back we were practically on our own in fantastic peace and quiet, but had long distances to the sanitary facilities. The only open sanitary building was therefore much busier. Really large pitches, access with large caravans not easy...., entry and exit from and to the campsite very strange and narrow. We would go there again at any time in the low season! P.S: The pizza stand in front of the entrance is not recommendable in my opinion...Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Daniel W.elokuu 2016Positiiviset- Close to the beach - large pitches - good sani's - good store and bakeryNegatiiviset- Pitch on a hill, which makes maneuvering to the right and left of it quite complicated when occupiedBeautiful campsite with everything you need.We stayed here for 6 nights in August 2016 and really enjoyed our stay. The approach is well signposted and good. The parking area in front of the barrier is puzzling for caravanners (car + caravan). There is no real space for arrival and the small parking lot is full with day guests etc.. The turning... area is too narrow, so you can't get around with a caravan. Registration can be completed in almost all national languages, including perfect German, which makes things easier - despite school French. The pitches range from shady to almost exclusively sunny. Like all the pitches in our area, ours was on a small hill and parking the caravan was not easy without a mover. However, you can also use the tractor in an emergency. The electrical connection was reliable and the sanitary facilities were clean. Not the most modern, but well maintained. We were completely satisfied and more than enjoyed the week.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Ute B.heinäkuu 2015PositiivisetQuiet and good location; kite beach within cycling distanceNegatiivisetWashbasin closed at 10 pmRelaxing, quiet summer vacation despite high seasonWe felt very comfortable here, received a friendly welcome and the staff spoke English and even German. We had a spacious pitch at the back of the campsite, where it was very quiet. Despite the peak season at the end of July/beginning of August, the very large campsite was not fully booked. Some of the... sanitary facilities are very spacious and nicely renovated. The only thing that bothered us was that at 10 pm not only the shower area but also the washbasins were locked.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Tim H.elokuu 2012We stayed at this campsite in a mobile home in the last week of August. The mobile home was very comfortable and large. The cleanliness was not perfect, but ok. We were also pleasantly surprised by the facilities in the mobile home. The campsite itself is very large and spacious. When we were there,... it was definitely not fully booked and as a camper you could - if you wanted - camp completely alone on a meadow. We were disappointed by the direct beach access described. There is a small beach that belongs to the campsite, but firstly it is quite small, secondly you have a direct view of the bridge on which the traffic to Saint-Aygulf drives and thirdly it often stank there, as apparently some fumes were discharged from the nearby hotel. The large beach, which you can also see on the internet (with the bays), can only be reached by crossing the large bridge described above. About 10 minutes on foot. But this beach was really beautiful! All in all, we would probably recommend the campsite if you are looking for peace and quiet on the Cote d'Azur and reasonably priced accommodation.Käännetty automaattisesti.
- Rüdiger K.kesäkuu 2010During the flood disaster on 16.06.2010 we stayed at the St. Aygulf Plage campsite. We checked in at around 5.30 pm on the evening before, 15.06.2010, and were told that a minimum stay of 2 days was obligatory. At this time we received no information about any possible danger to the site. On the morning... of 16.06.2010, we woke up by chance at around 06.10 and noticed the rising water. Within 10 minutes, the water had risen by over a meter. I was able to rescue the vehicle at the last minute and my wife alerted the surrounding neighbors. Together with several campers, we were able to save ourselves on a higher meadow at the back of the site. The situation on the site: - the campsite was flooded to a height of over 2 meters in the lower parts - the emergency exit was blocked and closed off with concrete barriers. The campers first had to remove the barriers and break open the gates. The campers were practically trapped between blocked emergency exits, fences and the water - the neighboring campsite was alerted and evacuated at around 03:00 in the morning. The Saint Aygulf Plage campsite did not receive any alerts or information - many campers lost their belongings. There was no sign of the campsite management. For example, there was no offer for the "homeless" to move into undamaged mobile homes. The campers were simply left to their own devices. Conclusion: Despite the great location by the sea and the wide range of leisure activities, I cannot recommend a campsite with closed and barricaded emergency exits and absolutely poor emergency and crisis management.Käännetty automaattisesti.
