I have never experienced queues in front of the showers from 5pm to 9pm. Cleaning too infrequent and not good. When there is no paper at all in two out of five toilets, I find that difficult...Campsite with a dream viewNice place in a great location with clear weaknesses in the sanitary area.

Accordingly, it is often full and unfortunately very dirty. The camp kitchen is very dirty and there is always an unpleasant smell.Beautiful viewI can recommend the campsite for a short stay. I don't think the price-performance ratio is good. You pay for the view of the Zugspitze. Pitch size "comfort" sufficient for a camper of 6.5m. Water and waste water on site. Aldi, Edeka and beverage market directly on the other. Street side. Sufficient great sanitary facilities (WC/shower) Shopping directly opposite (EDEKA, ALDI, ATU) Electricity for Womo in almost abundance, power heating 2100W, TV, refrigerator, light, cell phone charging, battery from the e-bike land - all no problem. TOP ! That's rare. Quiet, you can only hear the river rushing, we didn't hear the road at night. Fresh water directly at the electricity column on the pitch.NegatiivisetCouldn't find anything... If you value a high level of security on the site, you might be bothered by the fact that the site is accessible to everyone day and night, i.e. without control. It didn't bother us. Our bikes were secured several times at the Womo. We were in May and the temperatures were rather early summery, so we didn't need any shade. These are rare due to the few trees.EVERY TIME again !We were a little skeptical at first, at such a TOP place below the Zugspitze....
But the staff were really friendly, as they had been by email, as if they had known each other for years.
A postponement of one week due to the weather was not an issue, the deposit (50€) was credited to our guest account.

All in all, it's a transit site, you mustn't forget that. Prices quite high for what is on offer. Plenty of excursion possibilities, use of public transport (train and bus) with the guest card... is great. Many things are easily accessible by bike (swimming pools, Garmisch and Partenkirchen, great hiking trails (gorge), and an amazing panorama. Sanitary is simple, but clean.
You can shop on the other side of the road. But it is very dangerous and difficult to cross. There is no crosswalk and nobody stops.

In the showers, a tile has been lying broken on the floor for days. The joints are moldy. The shower heads are filthy. You just don't want to go into this building.

These were probably new for the ladies, but the men's were in a state of disrepair.
The toilet was half off the wall, tiles were missing, and that was only in the places I was allowed to visit.
The price of... 32 euros plus electricity (according to consumption) is too high.
Filling up the water/disposing of it/emptying the toilet also costs extra. We saved ourselves that.
But the bread rolls were delicious and ok for the price.

The campsite is simple, 3 stars are appropriate, lots of gravel which makes it almost impossible to hammer in pegs, but on the whole okay.
The ladies' sanitary area is new, clean and 3-star. In contrast, the men's section... is very much on the edge. Tiles are falling off the wall, dirt, mold in places and half the doors don't close.
It's probably going to be renovated too, but until then, all you had to do was spend a few euros on tile adhesive and new door catches. But simply doing nothing and watching it fall into disrepair is not an option.
You should only enter the ladies' sanitary area with a clothespin, which was in a bowl in the entrance. However, we noticed several times that a queue had formed at the entrance because there were no clips and there were hardly any ladies inside. After cleaning, at noon and at night, it happened that soap and towels were missing immediately afterwards.
That was a shame!
We would come again if the sanitary building was completely renovated.

We spent three nights at this well-located site. The reception was very friendly and competent!
There was no problem with the peace and quiet, nor with the road. Only the dog walk was a bit difficult, as there is no real possibility for it outside.
Sanitary was very clean and it was cleaned twice... a day.
On our pitch and the surrounding ones, the water supply and also waste water and sanitary disposal was possible at a designated column.
We definitely didn't miss a store, as there is an EDEKA and Aldi right opposite where you can do your shopping.Käännetty automaattisesti.

We received a friendly welcome, and were always friendly the days after.
The site is fully booked, we don't have to queue in the sanitary facilities.
DieS is a 3-star campsite, and that's how it's advertised, but the facilities are... more than adequate and always clean. There is fresh water and waste water at every regular pitch, so the general assertion that there are no water taps is incorrect. There is only nothing at the tent pitches.
The road in the front area is certainly audible during the day. We are in the rear area, where it is within the tolerable range, and at night either way.
We also don't understand the claim that the site is not for those seeking peace and quiet.

No water connections available. You always have to go to the sanitary building for small things (tea, etc.).
WLAN more bad than good.
We would NEVER recommend this place - despite the best location.

No matter how friendly you are and ask something, you don't get friendly answers from this lady but rather the impression... that she is overworked and no longer wants to do her job.
This is by no means the case for all employees, but the lady in question should try to change jobs if necessary.
So far we have been really impressed by the friendly staff on every visit compared to other campsites, but thanks to one person this has now come to an end.
