- Lisa G.April 2023TeigiamiWe had a really great pitch in the first row by the sea. The small, beautiful bay is only a few minutes' walk away. Great playground on the pitch and supermarket with a large selection nearby! The sanitary facilities are a bit older but were always clean.NeigiamiIn the high season, the small bay is definitely very, very crowded and cramped.Very nice place with a great little bayWe would come back at any time - in the low season! Friendly reception.Automatiškai išversta.
- Matthias B.October 2021TeigiamiClose to the sea, great for swimming Water on every pitchNeigiamiEnormously small and uneven pitches Minimalist sanitary facilitiesOk, nothing moreThe location is close to the sea and therefore beautiful. The location is quiet and the air traffic from Marseille is rarely audible. The beach is cute.
The campsite is basically clean, at least at the beginning of October.
The pitches are very small and uneven. On many pitches, the car doesn't even... fit on the parking space. The site is dominated by mobile homes anyway. I understand sea view to mean something else. With a bit of luck, you can see some water behind the cliffs between the trees and the fence. The sanitary facilities are clean, but unisex, without toilet seats and toilet paper. Waste is deposited at the side of the path between the entrance and most of the pitches. The pool is just a pool without anything except 6 sun loungers. The store at the campsite was closed, so shopping by car is always necessary. The restaurant is not recommendable, better to go out.
The beach is big enough in October, but in summer it must be hell. The 1000 m2 beach is used by 4 campsites and 450 parking lot users.
The rest is cliffs.
All Covid restrictions were systematically and fundamentally disregarded by the operator and staff.
Internet is very expensive and has a miserable performance, for mails and some surfing is enough.Automatiškai išversta. - Jürgen S.July 2019TeigiamiWe particularly liked the washbasin right by the pitch.NeigiamiOn Sundays the beach is very crowded (many locals)Great place, would love to come backWe were on the site with our tent trailer in the first two weeks of July 2019 and were pleasantly surprised. Our toilets were always clean. UNISEX toilets, small toilet seats and no toilet paper didn't bother us. We don't understand the ban on shorts at the pool, but it is stated on the homepage and the booking confirmation.Automatiškai išversta.
- Manuela A.September 2017TeigiamiThere was a separate sink on the pitch, I thought it was great! The nearby beach and nice staffNeigiamiUnisex toilets, no toilet paper, far too expensive!Spontaneous stop at Le MasWe've just returned from France and stayed at the Le Mas campsite for 4 days, which was actually too expensive, but we needed some peace and quiet. However, we had a huge ant problem and therefore left the campsite. Despite the 4 stars, there were unisex toilets without toilet paper, I found it disgusting,... we could wash our hands at the sink. There was a small store in front of the campsite where you could get delicious baguettes for a normal price. We didn't go to the pool, the sandy beach was easy to reach. We didn't try the restaurant or the pizza stand. However, we won't be back and have found a better one nearby.Automatiškai išversta.
- Thomas R.June 2017TeigiamiBeautiful surroundingsNeigiami- No swimming with swimming shorts in the pool - unhyg. Sanitary conditions - expensive (and weak) internet - expensiveDisappointedCamping Le Mas is located in beautiful surroundings. The pitches with a sea view are considerably more expensive, but offer a horizontal slit of sea view under the dense branches of the neighboring mountain pine or pine trees. Camping pitches and rental bungalows are relatively densely packed at Camping... Le Mas. Toilets and sanitary facilities are unisex and sometimes very dark and unlit during the day. Very unhygienic toilet conditions due to the lack of urinals and therefore splashed toilet seats. No toilet paper is provided! This really leads to unhygienic sanitary conditions at Camping Le Mas. Internet access at Camping Le Mas is only available for a fee (e.g. 13 euros for 2 days), but the internet performance is almost always poor. Only a maximum of 2 devices may be used (and only alternately). Skype connections are usually poor or unusable. Sometimes the Internet works quite well. Unfriendly and arrogant staff at the pool, who turn away new arrivals because of (short!) swimming shorts, but don't have the pool under control because of distraction and cell phone use. This bathing ban is not acceptable! Camping Le Mas has no direct access to the sea, you reach the public beach by the sea past the reception and a passageway and then via a parking lot. The prices at Camping Le Mas are not only ambitious for the pitches, even a take-away pizza costs between 11 and 14 euros! Overall, the price/performance ratio does not seem reasonable. The small supermarket outside Camping Le Mas offers a very good selection, including fresh and very tasty baguettes (€0.90) from 8am.Automatiškai išversta.
- Thomas E.October 2016TeigiamiDirectly by the sea, shady pitches, some sinks on the pitch, view, close to MarseilleNeigiamitoo expensive (even in the low season), beach not clean and very small, due to the proximity to the city not so welcome "day tourists"Short vacation on the Cote BleueAs convinced folding caravan campers, we rented a caravan on a trial basis during the autumn vacations and instead of going to Tuscany as planned, we drove to the Cote Bleue (summer tires and burner, I had my doubts). Unfortunately, the planned campsite had just had a 2-hour lunch break when we arrived,... so we came across Le Mas 100m further on and as reversing with a trailer is no fun, we just stayed here (joking of course, we just didn't care) In October there were of course lots of free pitches available, we opted for the premium pitches with a view of the sea (for 4 days that's fine). These pitches are big enough, even if not necessarily spacious. The big advantage is the sink directly at the pitch with sea view included, which is really great. As everywhere in the south of France, the campsites are mainly plastered with mobile homes and huts. The proportion of caravan and tent pitches on the site is no more than 15%, which makes it all the more surprising that the best pitches are still caravan pitches with sea views. Relatively empty in October, but to our astonishment a surprising number of Germans with children the right age for our children on site. This ensured that the little ones were entertained and nothing stood in the way of relaxation. The site has 4 stars, the playgrounds are centrally located, the pool is large, supposedly heated (strangely colder than the sea ???) The pizzeria on the site had unfortunately already closed, but there is still a restaurant on the site which was very busy, especially at the weekend. You have to walk about 600m from the pitch to the beach, at the end there are steps down to the beach. The beach is unfortunately relatively dirty, we as Carmargue spoiled tourists were a bit disappointed. (Although not as bad as in Croi du Roi) We finally found a decent spot and the children were still able to swim well in mid-October. The surrounding area is very hilly and very reminiscent of the Cote d'Azur (bays and villages). Marseille is not far away, so there is a lot to discover there. However, we also discovered the industrial zone to the rear (northwest of the Cote Bleue) Port Saint Louis du Rhone and Port de Bouc probably contribute greatly to the pollution in this region. You could say that the Cote Bleue is a small (beautiful) island surrounded by a big city and an industrial zone.Automatiškai išversta.
- Alfred L.September 2016TeigiamiBeautiful place and great locationNeigiamiSwiss in the plantCampsite is very nice, but....Never go there when the Swiss are there! It couldn't be more ruthless !!! Provocative and reckless rioting every day. Too bad for the reputation of the resortAutomatiškai išversta.
- Anne R.September 2016TeigiamiBeautiful beach within walking distance Sink with running water and drainage at many pitches (limited) sea viewNeigiamiHigh price level (pitch + restaurant) Noise at night Many ants Very hard ground few offers in the surrounding areaOverall satisfactory to good campsiteOverall, we were impressed with the campsite and enjoyed our stay. The pitches are generally large enough and trees provide shade on many pitches. Many pitches also have a sink with running water. We had a pitch with a sea view, which we were allowed to look at first (we had three pitches to choose from).... We walked around the campsite and then chose the pitch we wanted. It should be mentioned here that the surcharge for a pitch with a sea view is only worth it to a limited extent. The view of the sea is restricted by the fence, an oleander hedge and several trees in front of the fence. So you can't see too much of the sea. In September, we paid around €47 for the night (2 people, 1 tent, electricity, water and car on the pitch). That's still quite expensive for this time of year. The restaurant and the small supermarket were also too expensive for us to eat out or go shopping. To get to the market, bakery or butcher in Couronne or a larger supermarket, you definitely need a car. Apart from the campsite, there is very little or nothing else on offer if you want to go out again in the evening or are looking for entertainment at lunchtime. The nearest beach (St. Croix) is really beautiful and really impressed us. It always took us about 10 minutes to walk from our pitch to the beach. What we didn't like was that it was always quite loud in the evenings and at night (in the low season!). Unfortunately, many mobile home residents showed little or no consideration for campers in tents or caravans. That's why we could only sleep (badly) with earplugs. We also found the high noise level unpleasant in other places on the campsite. The prices for the internet are really outrageous (1 day = 8 €!). The toilets and showers were mostly clean and were cleaned regularly. Unfortunately, no toilet seats, toilet paper, soap or hand dryers/towels. That should be included at this price and four stars!Automatiškai išversta.
- Andreas V.June 2016Charming placeThe site has an irregular layout, which gives it a special charm but makes maneuvering difficult. Our WW (just under 7m) was a bit of a challenge, but we would still go again. San. Facilities very clean and well designed. Unfortunately WC without paper. Small beach in a pretty bay. Beach with very gently sloping water, ideal for children. Pool area well-kept and well laid out with plenty of sun loungers, even in the water!Automatiškai išversta.
- Bernhard K.May 2016TeigiamiNice location, nice friendly staff, what you urgently need in the immediate vicinity, quiet at least in May.NeigiamiNo larger store or gas station in the immediate vicinity, expensive WLAN.May 2016 - Before the seasonWe, 2 couples, rented a mobile home together for 10 days to spend a few nice days. We got a brand new one with a sea view. It was functionally furnished and we were very happy with it. We went on long walks along the coast (very beautiful) on both sides and mostly catered for ourselves, as the food prices... in France are much higher than here (Margarita pizza on the campsite - €12.0). The staff were very friendly and courteous from reception to departure. The sanitary facilities were very clean and well-maintained (there wasn't much going on) - but why still no toilet paper and soap? Apart from that, there's not much to do in the surrounding area, even as a frequent cyclist I couldn't get much out of the area on my bike (in contrast to hiking, see above). Apart from the small, well-stocked and of course not exactly cheap supermarket at the entrance, you are dependent on your car for other activities and shopping. And no longer up to date: WLAN costs €5 per hour, €8 per day. It gets a little cheaper if you stay longer. All in all, however, a very nice, relaxing time.Automatiškai išversta.
- Christa B.September 2015TeigiamiQuiet location, small bathing bays, starting point for excursionsNeigiamiAlso depending on the other visitors, e.g. volumeBeautifully situated, not too large campsite,Starting point for hiking and cycling, train connection. - Marc Z.September 2014TeigiamiClean sanitary facilities Great pool Beautiful natureNeigiamiGreat beach unfortunately totally overcrowded, camping + 450 guest parking spaces!!!! No night watchman!Great area, unfortunately unsafe!Attention: Bicycles were stolen at night, ours was also attempted. Fortunately, we woke up and the thief fled.Automatiškai išversta.
- Henning Z.August 2014Beautiful place with sea viewThe rule that only tight-fitting swimming trunks should be worn in the swimming pool (swimming shorts are actually forbidden!) does not work at all!!!Automatiškai išversta.
- Doris D.June 2014TeigiamiSwimming pool and public bathing bay right next doorNeigiamiNothing else going on in the surrounding area.Very nicely located CPThe pitches were unorthodox for me at first and were sometimes criss-crossed. However, there was something quaint and charming about the trees. We didn't pay the extra price for a sea view, as there were lots of storm pines "blocking" the view. It is also fenced off there, as walkers can walk along it... and enjoy the view. But the pitches there were also level! The campsite also has a lot of mobile homes, but somehow it's a bit of a hassle when there are always pitches in between. The sanitary facilities are new, clean and spacious and have hooks (!!!) and two storage areas in the showers. Toilets, as usual, without paper (and soap). The swimming pool is really great. There are even sun loungers in the water. From there you can also go directly to the restaurant. The campsite itself also has a small bar and you can watch the chef making pizzas. The staff are nice and friendly and the manager speaks perfect German (without an accent!). Otherwise you can get by with English. There is a small store right next to the campsite where you can also buy groceries. If you want to go to the beach, there is a small public bathing bay right next to the campsite, which is of course also popular with the French themselves. There are other small bays in this area. Otherwise, there isn't much going on around it. A short bike ride to the surrounding villages is not such a hit, as there was nothing else - in my opinion.Automatiškai išversta.
- Jürg E.May 2014TeigiamiThe campsite is situated under shady trees with flat pitches and is very quiet.Neigiami-The well-kept campsite is located under shady trees with flat pitches and is very quiet. The restaurant "Les ombrelles" is located directly on the site and is recommended with its 3 menus. Nice, heated pool. Price difference with and without sea view is not justified, as the sea view is limited to the... strip between the lowest tree branches and the cliff. Sanitary blocks are of recent vintage, gender-neutral, paperless and soapless. During our visit in early May 2014: constant wind from the west, but the only sunny corner of Europe. Beach stuff and food with freshly baked baguettes all day directly at the site entrance. Very beautiful walks over rocky plateaus down into the calanques along the coast to Cap Couronne.Automatiškai išversta.
- Stefan C.October 2013Sea view (pitches 147-168). Access to the sea only via reception (approx. 5 min.) - but it was quite pleasant that not every walker can walk directly from the sea to the campsite. Nice little bay (at least in October) with plenty of space. Sanitary facilities clean and heated. Only one toilet with a... toilet seat. All others "French". No toilet paper. About 3km to the train station "La Couronne" from where you can be in Marseille in about 30 minutes. A restaurant directly in the campsite (had already closed at the end of October) and one on the way to the beach (was still open - there were also baguettes in the morning after ordering). The kiosk was closed.Automatiškai išversta.
- Die D.September 2013The campsite (direct access to the beach) is approx. 35 km from Marseille and is beautifully terraced in the pine forest (partly on a stony plateau) (for small tents) and also generously laid out for large tents or caravans. The campsite is about 2.5 km from the nearest village (small supermarket at... the campsite entrance) and offers entertainment in the high season, has a nice cozy restaurant (with a nice bar and billiards) at the entrance area next to the pool and reception and is located above the beach (quite crowded). Trips to the nearest beaches of the Cote Bleu or fishing villages are worthwhile (despite the proximity to Marseille, the bays and the sea are very clear and actually very clean). The pool area (with heated water) is very nicely laid out (there is also another bar) and has a "diving area" for everyone (with lifeguard supervision). In the "lower" part is the sports field (football/basketball court) and table tennis area (unfortunately without lighting). The sanitary facilities are clean and as good as new.Automatiškai išversta.
- Susanne B.June 2013Beautifully situatedBeautiful sea view, if you think away the fence. Toilet outside takes some getting used to but clean. Be sure to pack ant poison and pegs, otherwise you won't be able to pitch your awning. Friendly staff. Definitely come againAutomatiškai išversta.
- Nicola M.September 2011Hi, the campsite was ok, the beach was a 5 minute walk away. for the children they had lots of entertainment. The only thing was that it was not close to a village or town that you could walk to. Otherwise it had as from supermarket to a pool and restaurant where the prices were cheaper than in another restaurant in the village or town.Automatiškai išversta.
- Adi A.May 2010Campsite is very quiet. Good food options. Nice pool also for children. Beach very crowded as only small beach bays, far from the center. Old washing machines. Some of the sinks at the pitches are defective. Ladies toilets + washing compartment without electrical connections (could not blow dry my hair 1*).we did not like the sanitary facilities, partly outdated. That's why we were only there for 3 days to explore Marseille and the area.Automatiškai išversta.
